Yeah, I definately think that this is one of the scariest films that i have seen a long time. It's well written, it's well directed, and it's got brillient actors in it.
Although it's been a long time since i've seen it, i can't actually remember my favourite part.

I really doubt it was the scariest movie I've ever seen. I mean, it had some jump-out-and-go-boo moments... but it wasn't as pants-pissingly scary as some people made it out to be. It was a good movie though. I don't care what people say, I still liked it.

I'm going to go see "28 Days Later" some time... it had better be damn scary. After all, it's being marketed as "the revival of zombie horror."

The Ring is supposedly rubbish compared to the original 'Ring'. It wasn't really that scary, i've seen worse. Samarah was sweet though. And the Horse scene was quite shocking...

'28 days later' is unbelievably rubbish...don't go and see it...you'll only encourage people to make more movies like that...i.e - crap

If I go see 28 Days Later, I won't actually be supporting the creators. I get in to movies for free because I work at a movie theater...

Yeah, "Ringu" is supposed to be exponentially better than "The Ring." I almost picked it up last week, but I didn't have any money on me.

The bastards wouldn't let me in, even though they let me see Blade 2 which is two years higher.
Oh well, I heard it wasn't anything special. The girls I talked to about it said it was scary and they guys said it was lame.

ahhh, is this the japanese or the american version? the original is way scarier, its just weird!! I found the last one, which was meant to be a prequel, quite a poor film. sadako jst isnt the same without those scary eyes!!

oh yeh, and what was the well-girls name in the american version? it wasnt the same was it?

Just seen 'Ring' and 'Ring 2'. Quite good. Even though i think 'The Ring' is better than the original, they were still quite intriguing. 'Ring 2' was far better.

Only a couple of things wrong with them, the plot was immensly strange and weird. Moreso in the second.

And all the characters seemed to bare a resemblance to each other, maybe thats cos they were Japanese, i don't know, but they did.

Also, if Atusi is still here is it true that the whole 'video-that-kills-people' is an actual Urban Legend in Japan?

Hmmm...but yes, shtill quite good. Especially the part were the Reporter is trying to erase the video and the latest victim starts shaking her head violently, that part rocks.

Sadly they haven't and won't show 'Ring 3' probably because its not that scary...

The Ring is a very good film. I wouldn't say it is scary as much as it is suspenseful though. I like how it took the "help the poor misunderstood dead child" theme and twisted it around to make a quite surprising ending. My favorite part had to be when Samarah crawled out of the tv!

I saw 28 days later on dvd this week. And I must agree with Jacob. It is very strange at so many points. And it feels like there are a bunch of holes in the plot and actual film. Plus its really hard to follow. In my opinion Resident evil the movie was much scarier, and was a way better story. Im looking forward to RE2. The entire story is looking a lot better, and fits in with the actual story from the games much better.

My god...
The Ring was the scariest movie I've ever seen....

...I'd love to see it again tough...

I also like "The House on the Haunted Hill".
*giggles*

Anywho,
28 days later sucks... I've seen it once and that was quite enough for me. It wasn't even scary... Waste of money, I say.

Hi atusiya's father is still here..
I have seen The Ring (Japan version) on TV.
I think that "The ring" is not a true story , is a fiction....
But
:
Ring is a true effort. Ring delivers every element of horror that should be presented. Ring is a vague retelling of an old myth: the story of a curse. It is not a witch's cauldron brewed apple of death, it is a videotape. A videotape, which brings death to whomever watches it exactly one week after viewing.

I've just decided that on my day off from work on friday, I am gonna buy the original japanese version of the ring, and then watch them one after the other.

Did you know that there is also an animated version of it.... Well, at least I think so

Ok- The Ring isn't the least scary film I've ever seen, but I feel that it's just down right un-scary. It uses all the cheesy horror movie cliches, for example bugs, "Boo" kinda parts, green flesh etc etc etc the list goes on and on. I want to see the Jap version. Now.
