Stuff I noticed

I was lookin at the AO and AE vids today and I noticed two things.

1. Abes eyes are yellow and the rest of the muds eyes are a white colour. Wada ya think?

2. The fether colours and shapes of the muds vary drastically.
I think that if they live in the jungle and vault type places they are for some reason purple. If they live in the villages like in MO they are all like frayed and shit. And then the ancients have all these decorations on their heads. Noticed any others.

i thought abes eyes are yellow because he was the chosen one to set his kind free from slaverey with a great destiny with something to do with the moons that bare his paw print with the other chosen ones. i think!

well, the paw of the moon represents the entire mudokon race as being the chosen one's. Not just Abe, so his eyes cannot be related to the moon.

Abe's eyes are bloodshot.

Most Mudokons are green because that's their natural skin tone. Some Mudokons like Abe and others found in Monsaic Lines have purple/blue skin for scientific reasons unknown. It could just be a different skin pigmentation. When free, Native Mudokons like to open the feathers on their head, but when they are enslaved, Glukkons order that they be tied together. Abe and many other Mudokons retain their ponytails simply to remind them of their past and what will happen to their people if they fail to restore balance on Oddworld.

No, but Dictionary.com might be able to. I wouldn't look too far into it. More than likely it's just OWI's way of making Abe stand out more against other Mudokons. If you want an in-game explanation, then maybe he was such an eager worker that he spent an unhealthy number of late nights working.

The only thing I noticed in AO and AE was the Mud sprites in AE still have 4 fingers, even though in the cut-sceens they only have 3.

But I spent way too long playing before I discovered that!
