Will there be Glukkons in Steef?

I am woundering if we are going to see Glukkons in Steef. If there are sligs then maybe what do you think?

I say that it's not entirely unlikely.
We knew that Glukkons were the big bad voodoo daddies of marketing in AO and AE. But weren't we surprised when we learned of Vykkers?
And even then, there were still glukkons in MO. So I say that it would be fitting if the profit mongers of Oddworld aren't just Glukkons and Vykkers.
We all know that Oddworld has been described as vast beyond all imagination. So Glukkons and Vykkers won't be the only bad guys on Oddworld, but they certainly have a place in (as I am calling it) SO.
Boo ya!

Did that all make sense? Hope so.

Seeing as how it'll take place on an entirely different continent and deal with different issues than AO through MO...I highly doubt they'll be the main bad guys. I suspect that there will be several different bad guys, each bad for a different reason...but that's just a guess.

Yes, but on X-Factor we saw a very cool FMV clip of sligs and such. And we saw concept art of Steef talking with a Vykker, so it wouldn't be odd to suggest that Glukkons might be in OW4 as well. I think we still have to wait and see who the next big bad will be.

I think there will be Glukkons on the new Oddworld title, whatever that name might be

The reason for this, is Oddworld is following a trend.
1) Unfortunate Hero = Abe/Munch (and probably there will be some tragic story about how Steff's race is in danger...blahblahblah...)
2) Evil people who the unfortunate hero wants to stop. = Slig/Glukkon.

So as you can see there will be Glukkons I think. It seems Glukkons spread everywhere and want to take everywhere over.

I wasn't able to see that video, were is Steef somewhere else in Oddworld?

If there are Sligs then Glukkons are probably going to be there... Aren't they the leaders of the Sligs anyway? Aren't they the ones who breed them...?

Actually, Alf has pretty much said in Dear Alf that OW4 takes place in Mudos.

I'm not sure if Glukkons are going to turn up - I'm not sure Mudokons or Sligs will, since we've only seen early material from the production of the game, and all sorts could have changed since then. Same would go for Vykkers, except since we've seen one in an actual storyboard, I think it's more likely.

Well if he was a traitor that would be a great twist to the Oddworld games, what do you think?!

As I said, I don't know that much about Oddworld, but I only like posting to keep as up to date as I can.... if that makes any sense at all

Yeah say he goes to the Vykkers to get some help but they refuse and then he goes to the Glukkons and they offer to Help this Steef to get back at his own race as a bounty. It will be Steef working for the Glukkons for a good purpose as an unlikely only on the industrial side. That is a twist I have to say. Then ultimately when we find out what he really is as that centuar creature thats when he turns aganst the Glukkons and becomes the natural creature he really is. hmm intresting.

Yeah, the main character is supposed to be kinda like Clint Eastwood, which often is the loner type. When you're a loner, you aren't really on anyones side.

I think the glukkons could be in the game in some slightly different way. The vykker in the early storyboards seemed to be different, he was a normal bartender(from what we saw), and there could be some average glukkons around maybe like a blacksmith, police chief, or they could be normal industrialists having something to do with that huge army of sligs. It is just too early to really know.

I wouldn't mind if Glukkons were present in the game or not. Whether or not they are, is too early to tell. Though, we can speculate on what we've seen so far.

Seeing as Sligs are present, it is safe to assume that Glukkons will be present. Though, things have definately changed in the time since X-Factor was recorded, and thus we cannot be sure.

But, as I mentioned, I wouldn't mind. Though, I'd rather Vykkers if there was a choice. As we haven't been given the chance to explore the Vykker world as greatly as we have with the Glukkons.

I think they should possibly expand a bit on the Vykkers in Steef, but save most of it about the normal ones seen in MO, for ME, along with the Gabbits. Much like how the Mudokons, Abe, Sligs, Scrabs, Paramites, Glukkons, etc. were expanded a bit in their roles, and imformation provided about them. Then in Squeek possibly introduce the Khanzumerz.

Nice work there Xav. Anyways, it has been confirmed that the quintology games will usually have one or more bonus games to continue the story or develop plots, and characters, introduce new species, etc. So I still believe that ME is a very real future title from OWI.

Apparnetly Lorne has many ideas for Munch and his story, and has said it would take several bonus games to fully develop the second chapter in the Quintology, plus taking into account all that never made it into MO, I'm sure it's inevitable we'll be seeing ME.

I think Glukkons will be present in the next game. In AO and AE, there were Glukkons and Sligs. In MO, there were Vykkers and Interns. These make pairs. If there are Sligs in the game, then there must be some Glukkons too. That's what I think.
