Wired The Simpsons Topic!

Hello all what is your favorite Simpsons Episode? There are so many and I never get tired of talking about the Simpsons like that one episode where they go camping and Homer gets attacked by rabits and squrrals and Racoons hehe

And nothing like the Sideshow Bob Episodes especially the rake one.
Where there is a whole circle of rakes and he keeps stepping on them. He is like "BANG ooooooooh Bang ooooooooh BANG ooooooooH

Oh and I love Chief Wigum's kid. "Hi Lisa I can play Jingle Bells with my nose!"

Whats your favorite?

I just love the Halloween episodes, especially the one when they accuse Marge of being a witch.

Ah yeah... remember when the Simpsons were actually good?

I've watched two or three episodes from the last season... and I guess they were OK. They made me laugh. But there was one season that just totally ruined the series. I can't remember the number, but it had piss-poor plot lines and lame self-aware humor (i.e. "What wacky adventure will the Simpsons get into today?!").

It's pretty sad when you f*ck up self-awareness humor... that kinda thing usually makes me crack up.

I like the episode where they told the whole story in differet point of view. It was like Lisa's Day, Homer's Day. etc. it was pretty fun watching what they all encountered.

Yeh, I love that kind of humor, too. Futurama executes it so beautifully.

Simpsons season 4 & 5 were the funniest and smartest. Conan O' Brien used to write for The Simpsons, too...maybe that's why.

But now, Simpsons just suck. Hard. I laugh like only once at the new episodes...and it's not like a full laugh, more like a slight giggle...

Plus, they completely ruined Flanders's character. No freaking way would he sleep with that Hollywood chick when they hardly had gone out...it just was dumb. Not Ned at all.

Testify!
I have watched a couple of the new ones, because my friends always talk about them (they can't see my point of view), but they still aren't getting better. I remember the exact series when they started sucking and in reruns I never watch after that. All I say is they should have finished a long time ago.

Well it's hard to name one. A lot of them are good. But any episode with Duff-Man in it is always a Plus.

Duff-Man... Ooohhh-Yeah!!!

Yay for the Simpsons! I don't really have a favorite episode as such... there are just too many in there to name. But two parts come to mind when I think Simpsons.

1. The "Duff Beer" song ... (Duff Beer for you, Duff Beer for me, I'll have a Duff and you'll have one too), when they are visiting the Duff Theme Park and Lisa drinks the water.

2. Barney's Christmas song, where he is singing about being a booze hound and he's in the gutter with a brown bag.

Ah, so many funny moments.

Abe Babe...
