Programming

Is There Anyone here who does programming to? Tell me which language. And ask questions! (don't expect me to know everything, so please help eachother)

By programming I guess you mean actual program languages. Which I only know and to a very little extent, Basic. We had to learn it in Computer Studies, and it was so boring.

However if you mean scripting languages, then mate, yay! I know fluent HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and Javascript. Which you may notice, all pertain to the internet

Unfortunately no, but I do know very limited ASP, PERL and ColdFusion

Well, About program languages, i know......
QBasic, Python, VERY little C/C++, Visual Basic (6), i know some LISP, PERL, and that's about it i think.....

I never really went well w/ programming, I learnt some languages in my college course, but I really didn't like it much.

However I do know HTML and CSS. And I can, um, modify PHP, CGI and ASP. No, not just install hacks, I can do basic modifications to a scripted web page if need be, but mostly in ASP.

As for writing PHP, I leave that stuff to Alcar. I just make the forums look pretty.

I am 'fluent' when it comes to html, and I am learning php.

I am also learning binary and hexidecimal coding right now in school. Hard, but rewarding.

I'm learning HTML off the web and some of the sites aren't really specific. It took me hours to figure out that the frameset tags wouldn't work unless put in the head instead of the body! Do you guys know a good free site?

Try www.freeservers.com. You get a nice subdomain name, and you get to choose the domain it will be in, like maciscool.tvheaven.com or maciscool.8m.com. It's what I've used in the past...they took a lot of features off the free account, but it still is better than most.

How come so many people know HTML. I know a bit but i mostly do VB 6. Does anyone know how to make an icon apear in the toolbar on the bottom right hand corner like msn and the sound icon. I think its a dll but i don't know which one or how to call it.
