Isn't the new oddworld game going to be oddworld 3?

Hey guys, i've just read the back of my Munch's Oddysee manual and have realised something. You people on the forums are calling "Steef's Oddysee" oddworld 4. when on the back of the manual it says:
"Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is the second part in the five part Oddworld Quintology. Each game revealsmore about the strange and bizarre universe that is Oddworld, and its varied inhabitants."

"Thus far,we've accompanied Abe in the first installment, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, and in an EXTRA game, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus."

So this can be some good news aswell, if it was Oddworld four, there would only be one more game, if Quintology means five. Now that it is Oddworld 3 we have 2 more games to look foreward to and prob many bonus games like Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus.

The Steef game will not be called Steef's oddysee and isn't a part of the Quintology

its nice to hear that there are much more oddworld games comming up, couse yeah! oddworld are my all time fav. game series!

but im afraid that if they all going be only for XboX, then i should buy a XboX! i dont get anyway why they dont bring it out for PC anyway, they will sell much more games if they do that, i mean, abe's adventures were there for PC to.

o well maybe these games will be there for PC to somewhere in the future, im sure they will be.

Munch's Oddysee was hyped as a big game for the Xbox. If it had been released on the PC too, Microsoft would have doubtlessly sold that many less Xboces/Xboxi. Now OWI have their sights set on bigger and better games, so it would have to be up to some other company to port it.

now thats not nice of them, so oddworld will never ever be on the PC again? maybe i sign of the forum right now then! i just bought a new PC, so your saying i should buy a XboX to now? to late.....

(Sorry I haven't been keeping up, but) Xavier, is it confirmed that Steef's game will not be a part of the Quintology? I thought that it was part of the quintology and that Squeek/Nod/ etc were pushed to further along in the story (and/or were only rumors to begin with).

RoN, please read the Official FAQ. It tells us that Oddworld 4 will 'run concurrent with the evolution of the Quintology', not be part of it. Squeek is a dead cert if the Quintology is going to continue, and Nod remains just a rumour.
