Well, out of your choices I put Cowboy Bebop... and Chobits. Because I'm weird like that.

But my favorite animes are Serial Experiments Lain (because it makes you think) and Neon Genesis Evangelion (for religious symbolism). I also love Boogiepop Phantom and .Hack//Sign. And Tenchi Muyo! And some other stuff.

You've got some pretty obscure stuff on there, Xinos. Don't suppose you've gone Otaku... have you?

Indeed.

Anyway, since the subject here is anime, I suggest you ALL go out and buy the Animatrix. So far, I've only watched Final Flight of the Osiris (Just so-so.), Kid's Story (Wiggy animation.), and Beyond (I'm quite sure the creaters of Boogiepop Phantom had something to do with that one. Similar animation and music.), but man, what a great movie. It also comes with a special "History of Anime" segment as an extra. Plus, it's cheap.

Go Wolf's Rane. I would have put .//Hack Sign, Zoids, or Rurouni Kenshin, but that wasn't there.

Looks at poll list and sees no Evangelion, RahXephon, Excel Saga, Lain, Trigun, Kenshin plus countless others. The only one on there that's I've seen is Cowboy Bebop, and even that isn't all that good. But I voted for it though. Oh well the curse of living in Australia.

Hey SeaRex, have you seen this.
Live Action Evangelion

Well, seeing that I've only watched two animes in my life ... I like Excel Saga and I just started watching RahXephon.

Actually, that's not quite truthful, I loved Battle of the Planets as a kid (old 80s anime) and I have watched quite a few Sailor Moon episodes.

Excel Saga is hilariously funny if you like comedy ... watch it! There's been episodes where I've been laughing all the way though. RahXephon is the first serious anime I've watched ... makes you think and you get a bit confused!

Would like to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion one day ... I started watching it once, but never got past the first DVD ... I liked it, but just got doing other stuff instead.

I also have Final Fantasy: Unlimited, but it's in Japanese with English sub-titles, so I have to be in the mood for lots of reading.

Really, I cannot stand it when it's in English...
I love the japanese launguage

Sometimes I forget to read the subtitles but understand most anyway (no, I bairly know any japanese, i just read their expressions and hear the names of whom they speak of and it usualy is okay.) But I alwase rewind and check a bit.

I really wish sweden would broadcast Anime (in Japanese) on TV...

Yeah I got the movie on DVD the other day and I must say that it's really good. Good Action, Good Storyline. I really didn't like the series as much as I could have. And for 2 reasons really. The first was because I heard that it was the best series ever. So I went into it with high expectations. And most times you are usually disappointed when you do that. The 2nd was because there were too many filler episodes. The series could have been wrapped up in about 10 or so episodes. Heck, episodes involving Vicious were about 5 or 6. Cowboy Bebop for me would have been a better 13 episode series.
