well yeah we can imagine it but we will have to wait a long long time before seeing it at the movies, cause it will be realeased only after the quintology

Xavier is correct we are not seeing a movie for a long time from now. Lanning wants to do the games first and then the movies. But whoes to say he won't change his mind when all the games are out that he will cancel the movie idea? I mean to me it seems the minds of OWI change rapidly a lot.

it's their biggest idea, the want do it, and so they will

It is going to be so cool, damn the quintology, bring us the movies now!
But I think it will be very hard to make a real interesting AO movie as there is so little CG anyway, it could be very boring if it's just Abe rescuing Muds over and over. AE has a lot more movies and different locations so it would be easy enough, and although MO does too I have my doubts with that.

I think the movie idea will not be cancelled. Once the games are finished they will come. I remember reading somewhere that the Feature Films/Movies would be a lot darker in a sense like AO, but also go into a lot more detail and explain a lot more about oddworld than the games. So I dont think they would cancel such an important part of the overall Oddworld franchise, especially something that would connect everything we know about oddworld and want to know very smoothly.

actually there is not one movie for each game, but one movie for each hero so AO and AE will be together for one movie

I suppose so as they go straight on from each other, but it would be weird because in normal movies they usually have one big adventure thing, but this would be like "Oh it's over. Oh it's not."

I agree with ya facsimaly, but Im guessing that Oddworld has some pretty creatvie ideas on how to put the movie together and make it seem like on big adventure.

I'm sure they will do something great... but follow 100% the story of the games is impossible so I hope they will do something else but even nice

Yes, we must wait for the movie. But there's one thing I can't imagine: Can they show us anything new? I mean, we played the game and saw the intros. Maybe the whole game will be 3D. But that's a question for the future...

I seriously would love to see Abe, Munch and especially.... FUZZLES in a movie, I'd see it a zillion times and get the Dvd and watch it everyday... I can't wait!

What do you think the story will be like if they cant follow the games perfectly? (I mean it would be boring if they did :P )

I can't decide whether or not that's true, because I want it to be the same, with more depth but I also want to not know what's going to happen...
