Hi, I just got Abe's Oddysee today, and I can't get past the first level!

Can someone help me?

I think I know what your problem is. I bet you're trying to get to ZULAG 2, right? Wrong, that part of RuptureFarms is sealed off for now. So you have to find another exit. (Hint: This involves some grenades, an elevator and rolling)

IF you want to skip the levels listen up,Right Go onto the main menu hold R1 and press down,right ,left,right,square,circle,sqaure,triangle,circle,sqaure,It might not work the first time but try again

PC version hold down SHIFT and push
RIGHT, DOWN, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, UP, LEFT

but if you're more specific where you need help, I'll try to aid and not cheat!

I wouldn't know, i have both PC And PSX version of the game so i use both.

What the fudge?! You are linking him to a WALKTHROUGH? Shouldn't we do something else, for example, give him hints how to proceed? Much more fun that way, too.

There are two exits from RuptureFarms, to get in the stockyards. One of them leads to Zulag 2... That means that's not the correct one (you step in one of those weird elevator-thingies). The correct exit is, downstairs. You must enter a door somewhere and you will be brought down. Walk left and a Slig will be on a platform above. Keep runnin' and you will see a Boom-Machine and a elevator. Now you're on the right track.
NOTE: You must ROLL out of the screen in order to proceed. Now enjoy the movie.

AlphaScrab...I seem to be having the same problem too. I take the transport and get off , go to the end of the dock and find a door that I can't unlock....will try using the granade technique and see if that works.....

Grenade technique? No, you can't go through that door yet, period. You have to go back a few screens and enter a door above which is an LED screen that says something along the lines of "Mudokons entering this door will be packaged into delicious meat products," which will take you to a new screen. From there, go to the left.

Max.... thxx for the heads up... I have been traveling around in circles trying to figure out where to go....kept ending up at the dead end when I got off the transport....I remember the door with the sign refering to the Mudos being packaged...there is the electric barrier that I can't turn off blocking my way down below and the lift by the bomb machine above...I'll try and motor around ...see if I can find the way your describing...

....... I finally found my way to the new screen by taking the lift which take's Abe to the Stockyards.....But the scoreboard shows that I have only saved 12 Mudos....so I have been backtracking my way through Rupture Farms to try and find the others....trying to find and save all the Mudos is tougher that I thought. Anyway...thxx for pointing me in the right direction....that locked door off of the Transport was driving me nuts.....

Did you find all the secrets in Zulag 1??? Look behind barrels and inside pits, especially when you hear a Slig walking when there ain't no Slig around...

No I did not.....thxx AlphaScrab, I'll check it out....One of the Mudos was killed...so I may have to go back and start from the begining again...I'm not quite sure how losing one by getting killed will affect the game's outcome.....Thxx again ......

Also be sure to look around shadows. Some muds are hiding there.

Actually....there's only one mud hidding in the shadows of the first level in AO......but later levels have shadow muds as well. Keep an eye out.
