I've used dictionaries, online dictionaries, encyclopaedias: you name, I've looked in it, but I can't find out what a tongue reader is. Any clue?

Tongue reading was sort of a joke. Like here on Earth we have fortune tellers who "read" the lines on a person's palm to tell them about their future. On oddworld they tongue read.

Ah, I see. I was worrying they'd got lip reading wrong.

Although I did find one site that claimed a survey had reavealed there were x number of tongue readers in the US...

Incidently I found an old 'cyclopedia (a little book of useful knowledge, such as temperature conversions and animals' body temperatures) which had Palmistry and that thing that describes a person's personality by studying the shape of their - they were under 'science'.
