SERIOUS: Old memories & New feelings

His jaws snapped. The Butterfly caught inbetween was chewed and then swallowed. It wasn't as if Injin cared anymore. He had been let down far to many times. The first was his family, they attempted to kill him. Sacrifice their own relative so that a 'higher power' could help their race. The second time he was let down was with villagers, they all had their prejudices against Reptilian kind, and most of the rumours were true. Reptilians would and do kill anything eadable. But all Injin wanted was a mere home, a friend. He actually thought he had that, the first creature he befriended was a Mudokon...Olm or Oln. Something like that, it was long ago and thus his memory was tattered. But he remembered the Mudokon telling him he would help and sure, he attempted to. He even gave him a translator chip which made life a great deal easier, but then he was left alone and forgot about. Injin knew life wasn't fair but still, he looked for a companion. Searched far and wide. At the point were he was going to give up, he found one. The creature said its specie was a 'Crate' a close relative of Reptilians and this automaticly made Injin trust the dark skinned, red eyed creature. Looking back, it was a silly thing to do. And he learned from it, he showed the Crate not to use him. Injin smirked a little as he thought of the revenge he got. After that he decided nobody was worth anything anymore. He would kill who he liked, people have their preconceptions of every race, judging them just because of a few bad apples. Injin was set on proving them wrong. But his morale was snapped like a twig once he gave some thought to the details of the past. And now he had found himself trudging across the prairies. Back towards the village of Pyke. He wasn't going to stop there, he was just passing through. Going to the Harbour he was, to see if he could hitch a ride and get to some new land, without any preconceptions. His tail swished in the dusty ground, leaving its own unique mark with his paw prints. There was a time when he didn't believe he would make it, believed the world was going to end, believed his dreams told of the future. It was a stupid idea looking back on it. He used to dread going to sleep, thinking if he did he would see the future and the carnage that would ensue. Again he smirked to himself. He was young then, young and naive. The village of Pyke got larger as he neared, a sudden flash before his eyes saw the village burning, people screaming and running around franticly. He let the visions come now, he didn't fight them. That just made them more realistic. If he allowed them to come they would go by themselves. And so now he just absorbed the pain, suffering and torture. It was a funny thing really, when you really thought about it...
