Weird. I was just talking about Captain Planet in the pub yesterday... Don't you think it's weird that they're meant to be protecting the planet, and yet when the Earth Ring is used, the earth starts to crack and burn and just generally f*ck up?

I havent seen "Super Mr.Captain Earth Man", so I cant really chooce, but I did! I liked the description of the fire ring so I chooce it.

Does that mean I get it?

I use to like Captain Planet when I was little. My cousin use to be obsessessed with the guy, MR. underwear of water and hope. My cousin would like buy the underwear and try to dance it was crazy! But he's 24 now and he thinks that Captain planet is gay, has a pop-tart shaped head, a 80's hair cut (of course it was made in the 80') he's stupid and....well......just stupid.

But I pick heart because we need alot of heart in this world because we just don't have that much heart in our society anyways! And it's the most powerful source of Energy in the cartoon. Like I would use it to calm a monkey down or something.

Heart was the most useless one. That kid could never make it work on people that were too evil. As for wrecking the Earth as they're trying to save it, I think it's along the lines of pro-lifers destroying abortion clinics and the people inside for a cause. Idiotic.

I'd have to say that fire was the best one, because you could do the most destruction. Of course the American guy ended up with that one.

I cant remember much of it but i would have to say Water...maybe Fire.

Searex were did you get that dancing Gir thing? It entertains me...and i want one.

Hollywood will make it into a Live Action Movie. They are doing that with every other TV show, show why not Captain Planet

I used to love that show! I only remember the Song and the rings but I can't remember what the powers looked like.
'Captain Planet, he's a hero, gonna take pollution down to zero.' Then there was something else after that and then the bad guy said, 'You'll pay for this Captain Planet.'
Then them kids sang.
We are Planeteers, you can be one too, 'cause saving our planet is the thing to do.' Then it said something like: Something and Polluting is not the way, so here's what Captain Planet has to say:' 'The power is yours!'
Geez, I can't belive I remembered that much.
As for the original question, I think I'll choose fire because that is the only one I remember.

Okay, I have to share this with you now, because it is getting seriously scary...

I'll start at the beginning.

1. On the coach back from my Biology Field Trip, Captain Planet somehow came up in conversation.

2. That very evening, in the pub, with a totally different set of people, Captain Planet somehow comes up in conversation.

3. The next evening, I come online, and this topic is here.

4. The next day, a friend (who is not connected with the friends on the coach or in the pub) tells me that he downloaded the theme tune for Captain Planet that morning.

5. Later that day, I am walking along with another unconnected friend, and I can bear it no longer, and ask him if he has had any contact with Captain Planet recently. He stares at me and reveals that he had in fact found an old video of them that afternoon, and 'how the hell did you know that?'

Captain Planet is haunting me! Five totally unconnected sets of people bring that show up within three days!
