The Pledge of Allegiance. UNCONSTITUTIONAL?

All I have to say is that is the most absurd, rediculous thing I have ever heard on the news. I woke up this mourning listening to the news and they were like saying that a Federal court pronounced the Pledge Of Allegiance to be unconstitutional, because it stated the words "One nation under God." Whats next saying "In God we trust" on US currency to be unconstitutional? Or saying "God bless America" to be unconstitutional? It just doesent make any sense to me at all because for all of these years we used those phrases all the time. Why all of a sudden they denounce it? What do you think about all of this?

1. I don't know why it's unconstitutional because I don't know what's in the constitution but it's a good thing. The only was that I can see this as being absurd is that the constitution was designed in the olden days when bigotry was even more common than it is today.

2. People have already said that. About the wording on currency. I don't know if 'God Bless America' has been in the position to be unconstitutional or not.

3. They denounce it because it's wrong. They denounce it 'all of a sudden' because you haven't read the news much in the past.

The words "under God" have only been in the Pledge since 1954.

Yes, to rally support against the "Godless Communism". They weren't even placed there to "honor" God, it was only propaganda...

Just a little opinion-o-rama for curious minds...
