okay, i'm going to copy the contents of Bitlocker into this post. i'm just telling you so that no-one else bothers to do the same thing. it would be safest to copy out your own, as i will prioritise those who may not be following the RPG closely [eg elum, abebabe], but if i manage it, i will do them all...

Editing: *phew* Okay, it's taken a while, but I've finally done it! I have included several chars that do not appear to play any more, in case they do appear. I have also edited several of them to make them make sense. I have made no changes that affect the playing of the game, except for translating pet moves, which only actually occurred with people who don't play any more anyway.

several of the 'Notes' and 'Backpack Items' bits were just copied and pasted from Bitlocker, so a lot of them actually make no sense.

one thing i DID edit was the HP/AP root: i thought it would make more sense if i worked out the chars base stats and where they got the extras from. i couldn't do this for a lot of the HPs, because i'd need access to the old forums and/or a chat with Grid (that's why you get things like [? Base, +??]). the APs were easy, because the weapon APs were on Bitlocker.

sorry to Dragadon; i couldn't find Dragadon's stuff on Bitlocker. i filled in what i could, but i don't know her ap/hp.

Personality: Kind and helpful, but does have the tendency to get depressed quickly. Can have a quick temper if people bug her on certain 'subjects'. Is a little cocky at times, especially when in her Moon Guardian form.

Notes: The blowtorch is used as a tool. Dark Hood does not wear his gloves all the time. His swiss army knive, compass, and nail clipper are always attached to his dairy. He writes in his dairy every day he spends in the RPG. Be sure not to miss out on reading it!

Genral description:
Wears black trousers, black hooded jumper, black gloves, black heavy duty boots/green Wellingtons (if conditions are boggy and very wet, or if he wants to wade through a river) and he wears a mask. The reason he wears a mask is to make him look scarier, but on Oddworld the real reason he wears it all the time is because mudokons and sligs think he's ugly, being a human.
Personality:
Mild mannered. Kind and gentle, but gets upset and annoyed easily. Likes animals. Embarrassed on a certain number of subjects. A little strange in the head, and a bit weird. Known for doing weird, strange, stupid and embarrassing yet pointless stuff, therefore embarrassing himself. Obsessive with things he enjoys and likes. He is Gullible at times. He is also very Friendly and talkative. He is lazy, and just really likes to do nothing, apart from talk to his friends and go for walks, and play games. Prepared to take extreme measures if he feels he is about to die or get badly hurt. Strange, isn't he?

The deal between Dark Hood and Cili (if anybody wondered why we grouped up together):
Cili was the first person on Oddworld that he really made friends with. Since he saved her life from the sun children, he hangs around with her, because he has not much else to do, and because she hangs around with a dragon and Abe. Together, they make a strong and powerful group, and they all let him take is mask off when nobody else is around. He also believes in safety in numbers, and likes company and protection.

Notes: About 8 feet tall with a large crainium, dark borwn skin, and long, muscular arms. Eyes are orange, but like all other wild Glukks he has pupils. His legs are tiny but much stronger and more useful than those of a modernized Glukk. Adorns numerous tatoos of Skaroh symbols, wears a Scrab tooth necklace, and has an earing on one of those tube-like structures coming out of his head. He used to have an inflated ego until he was sent on a mission. Now he is a skilled warrior who knows when to raise his voice or keep his mouth shut. Has excellent hearing and sight. Extremely agile/fast, it is hard for most to keep up with him. He has dead-aim and can hit hard. Also can call on a guardian Skartah on special occasions.

Notes: A Darksider and the last of his race, Keris searches for revenge on the Vykkers and Glukkons who wiped out his race. He learns his spells by training at the training center(ex. say he has a spell called happy smile, he needs to meditate three times to learn it that is the equivilant of three training sessions. once he learns a spell he keeps it forever unless the spell says otherwise. most combat spells do say otherwise) His spells are as follows:

Probe- feel into someone's mind, send them psychic messages. No actual purpose save in the GT, which he will enter. Took 2 trains.

PSI Wave- Causes a surge of backlash to an enemy, for 15 damage. Took 5 trains.

Imbue- allows Keris to use the staff he has carried around, this spell reinforces it and makes it fit for more than just a walking stick, it allows the caster to make the staff cast another spell on command. Also adds 7 to the HP and the AP of the weapon. Required 10 trains to learn.

Notes: Loreisha was born as part of a failed Vykker's experiment on Mudokons. But she was born female instead of what the Vykkers were hoping to produce.

Previously a slave in Necrum Mines, she became used to the tough ways and built up a willingness to survive. Since being freed she has become an apt Mudokon warrior with high skills with the staff and shuriken. She often goes on expeditions for artifacts as well as battles and saving the occasional Mudokon with her troupe.

As a sidenote, since being rescued by Abe, she has had a major crush on him and is always trying to catch his attention... and is getting there! )

Since I haven't even joined I am not planning any weapons yet, probably guns. He is friendly to most other sligs and Muds, but since he is new at the village it may cause conflicts and trouble. He is looking for a job so I'll try and get him a shop shift...

Prevents any more Psychic Powers from being used by anyone in the battle. That includes the user.

Wears specialized Spider-like pants. Does NOT take insults well, but knows when it's best to restrain himself. Can climb and move about in trees with ease(has to be without pants), can run just as fast as a slig without his pants, faster with them. As strong as a BBS but more agile. Excellent night vision.

i'm gonna sort this all out later, honest! it would have hepled if we'd had a bigger typing box, but there you go...

whenever you battle or upgrade, post something here so i can update the post. this is only temporary, until someone finds a replacement for Bitlocker.

btw, do you think i should delete the stats for players who don't play any more? i have them on a word doc, in case they return, but it would make it easier for participating players to find their stats... give me your ideas.

i never bothered to add Dragadon since I was treating her more like an NPC. But here's the info on her anyway...

Rettick I slightly modified my character's notes plus added last week's salary so it differs to the stats you've recorded. I have them on my Hard Drive though so it's no problem.

i'm sorry, Dakkan, but i don't understand this. could you explain it to me before i add it, please? i realise that 'towm' means 'town', but what does 'due to the generous gift given my a mage flared at people in the towm' mean? i think you meant 'a part', not 'apart', but that's no problem, it's obvious. did you mean 'he was never really into anything' or 'he has never really gotten into anything'?

as soon as you've cleared these things up, i'll add them.

well, there aren't any rules for her. I tended to keep her out of the fights unless I wasn't planning on posting all the stats and such for the battle (hense the reason i had her knocked out during the Wolgon fight).
Im thinking about starting over anyway. Just using one character this time..

It means he is really focused on magic and he is not really interested on other things. Byt, he really likes physical things... he just can't find the physical thing to intragrate with his love of magic.

i got the general gist of it, but it's your grammar and general choice of words that i'm worried about. i like things i post to make sense. and you still haven't explained the 'given my a mage flared at the people', which just makes no sense. it's like you've just strung random words together...

Hi, Rettick, Grid, Dakkan, DH, and all others! Hope noone minds that i am joining the RPG. My character is below, and if anyone has anyobjections, please say so. I hope you all like my idea!

Backround: the last of his race, Keris is fairly young for a Darksider, only a few millenia old. His entire race was wiped out by the glukkons many years ago, save for one timy colony of Darksiders. He is the last survivor of the hard years. He left the ruins of his village to search for the glukkons and extract revenge.
Descripiton: Tall, looks like a cloakless Dark Templar, for anyone who has played Starcraft.

Descripiton: Tall, looks like a cloakless Dark Templar, for anyone who has played Starcraft.
On a side note: he has a few natural psychic abilities, but none that will do any damage. He attacks with his fists 'till he can get the staff Imbued(this will require a hell of a lot of Psychic and Magical training). However, he can learn a few tricks that nobody else can learn.(Magic out of the Greater Divination and Greater Shapeshifting spheres, this will be explained in his opening post!)

Ok, and another thing, about your post on Sligit's stats, that 4/18 means he has four HP out of 18, meaning he was hurt bad last time I played as him. I am adding Keris to Bitlocker, i think. Have not visited there in a while.

oki, i've added Keris, but i'm having some nagging doubts...

you're not planning on opening a magic shop, are you? cos we already have two...

i'm not sure how your spells work, but it looks suspisciously like the system you had for Mircxs. i don't mean to nag, but in the absence of Grid i feel i have to. it says you have to do three meditations, but what's to stop you just saying you've done them?

Hey, don't worry. I have started a Training area, The Psi Forest. Go check it out. It teaches the third and last branch of magic/Psychic stuff, PSI(i did caps terribly in the post.). It is the result of both merging. I will post when I have trained, so everyone who reads that topic will know when i did my thing.

Description: overall frame is like BBS. Has quills running down his back. only has 3 face tenticules. Dark green in color with yellow eyes. 3 ft long tail. 7' ft tall. Wears specialized Spider-like pants. Does NOT take insults well, but knows when it's best to restrain himself.

is there still that max stat base of 10? just wondering....

Alright, since I'm new at this, I'll just add Drok in for now:

Abilities: Extremely agile/fast, it is hard for most to keep up with him. He has dead-aim and can hit hard. Also can call on a guardian Skartah on special occasions

Description/Notes: About 8 feet tall with a large crainium, dark borwn skin, and long, muscular arms. Eyes are orange, but like all other wild Glukks he has pupils. His legs are tiny but much stronger and more useful than those of a modernized Glukk. Adorns numerous tatoos of Skaroh symbols, wears a Scrab tooth necklace, and has an earing on one of those tube-like structures coming out of his head. He used to have an inflated ego until he was sent on a mission. Now he is a skilled warrior who knows when to raise his voice or keep his mouth shut. Has excellent hearing and sight.

okay, i've updated our stats again. i wasn't too sure about kugal's latest upgrades i.e. has he paid for them, but i can't be arsed with acting like a dickhead any more, so i'll let it be.

Background: Cyrus is the leader of a terrorist type group who go about their ways killing and maiming for pure sport. These creatures are part of a horde called the "Shráák" although they look calm and tranquil they are the deadliest creatures on the planet. Cyrus was once a under dog, beaten by his superiors Cyrus sustained violent wounds and scars that he bears unwantedly. He became leader when one of his superiors was laying into him and nearly killed him, Cyrus held up his hand in protest and begged for mercy. The leader spat upon him and walked away whispering that Cyrus was a coward. But Cyrus was alot of things but not a coward and stabbed his leader in the back. And burnt the body, keeping his head as a trophy. Now he has become leader and has changed the ways of the Shráák instead of beating the underdogs they kill them...and cannibilise them showing no mercy for the soul of the victim.
Description: Cyrus is about a humans height, his hair and skin are both chalk white and his eyes a pale blue, although when he is pissed off his entire eyeball will change to a dark black, showing the darkness of his heart. He always carries a assault rifle in his leather jacket (That reaches down to his ankles) and two magnums on either side of his waist. All equipped with laser sight. His boots are black with Silver toe caps that can clearly be seen from a fair distance away and he always wears a kevlar vest underneathe his white T-Shirt. Although the entire race of Orkhid have no magical powers apart from a soul meld in which they enter the victims mind and are able to see inside memories of the victim and bring them to the surface...the sigh, smell and touch all tend to surface to, until the victim breaks down or kills themself, one good thing is that they cannot stay in the victims mind/soul for long and have to re-surface to keep stable themselves. This itself shows that they are very dangerous, their staffs that are black can be concealed and folded up to give the appearance that they are not carrying anything. But as they edge closer they shall bring it forth and wield it with great power and accuracy, strking the legs and arms before crushing the skull. They thrive on pain of other creatures and themselves and they can smell fear aswell as blood. The more blood, the more appealing the victims will be and the more pain the more they will want to kill. They see things others dont, they can see the soul as it leaves the body and can absorb it to become powerfuller...some side effects can come of this but it is the ultimate high the Orkhids.
Items: Assault rifle and 2 magnums all equipped with laser sight, a black staff and knife with a simple drawing of a hand on it.
Moolah: 0, but hopefully with the Vykkers help they will soon become powerfuller and richer, although been rich does not appeal to them.

Hope i ant put to much and can i plz join...sorry about attacking all those other Sligs before Rettick...where u planning to kill them yourself? But u have to admit, it was a good entry!

look, oryon, i appreciate that you don't know the rules here, but i really think it might have been a good idea to find out BEFORE you joined in. for a start, stats ALWAYS start out at 1, 1/1, so 23/23 is ridiculous. secondly, there are rules for battle. did you think AP and HP were just there to look pretty? i'm sorry, i'd love to have you on the team, but i can't post these stats as they are. i suggest you take a look above, where other people have posted theirs, and then fill in the categories that they have.

as a tip, don't reveal so much about your character, since in posting as much as you did, you've already ruled out a lot of plotlines. try and keep a bit of mystery at the beginning, if you can.

if this'll help, here's how your stats and moolah should look at the start. you might want to find the rules [they're here somewhere] and read them.

HP: 1/1
AP: 1
no weapons or other items
no magical or psychic powers
Moolah: 1000m

the rest is up to you, but be concise, to allow the most flexibility for your character. thanks.

Most mystery is still concealed. Fine, i will start off wiv 1/1!!! But can i at least keep the weapons plz. The weapons are the main part of the characters. The psychic ability i aint really bothered about since that dont turn up til later on. So...

If i cant keep the other stuff plz state and i will make them more primitive. By the way who are the Dark Mud's? Does somebody play them? N e wayz rules for battle? Like what, u seemed to turn that Slog to ash pretty quick, so why cant my pack waste a couple of Sligs and Slogs here and there. It was a great plot line, i could of had you get your head blown off in it but i didn't. And how come some of the others started off with a few weapons. If your only allowed to have a few then i will keep the staff and the rest can go...rite, is everything perfect now?

you do get 1AP, but no weapons, sorry. Dark Muds are controlled by no-one, but they were Pacen's idea, so i wouldn't use them too much. the ones that helped to destroy Pyke were not true dark muds, but dark muds who were controlled by the Blood Kryes.

i turned the slog to ash with a spell, which i had to learn. learning spells costs moolah, and i didn't start off with them. the point is that you and your enemies have AP and HP, which work out who wins the battles. you then post the battles, which you can make as imaginative as you want, as long as the maths works out in the end.

oh, and don't flatter yourself. it wasn't a great plotline. i mean no offense, but it was mechanistic, and it ended a plotline with potential to develop, very suddenly without any real excitement. try and avoid suddenly destroying other people's plotlines in future. thanks.

K'z...so my pack of hunters are stripped of their weapons. Ohhh, well. And wot were u going 2 do to those Sligs and Slogs...do matrix style confu on them? So how do i start off a new story. shall i keep with the one from b4 with Salvador's thread? It doesn't say about weapons or owt in there. And when i buy a weapon do i have to post it and how much are staffs? Cos i will buy it now out of my 1000m. And train on my psychic ability. Do i have to post about my ability and weapons and talent? If so jus' say and i will do most things. K. Cyz!

weapons can be bought at the weapons shop, which is a section of the 'Psi Forest'. magical abilities can usually be bought either at the 'Psychic Training Centre' or the 'Mage Tower'. the two places offer different sorts of magic, and each have their own advantaGES. unfortunately, i should point out that you've picked a bad time to join, as all shops in the village are out of order, since the village has been taken over, and the villagers have fled. sorry. you'll just have to wait until they are reopened.

i think that i should point out that it is not your 'pack of hunters' that have no weapons; it is you who have no weapons. you only get one character at once here, you know.
