WipEout Fusion.
My reason for owning a PS2.
The greatest WipEout installation yet has been put back until February next year. That's a whole frogging year after its original release date.
It keeps being put back and put back, further and further out of my reach.
At first it was so the developers could add more tweaks and touches to it.
But now the game is finished. Studio Liverpool have done all they can with it.
It's Sony's decision this time round. They've deliberately put back the release date becuase they're afraid of competition from other games. Do they really have so little faith in their own product? If they delay it, Fusion fans will get impatient and start looking for their speed fixes elsewhere within inferior titles (can you say Extreme G3?). It defies all logic.
I was so looking forward to getting Fusion for Christmas. Now that's no longer an option, and what would have been an excellent Christmas will now just be a standard mediocre one.
I want my WipEout Fusion!
