The 'finish the sentence' game - third incarnation

Ages ago, I posted a topic like this, and it was a great hit! It died eventually, though, and was resurrected by The Blue Scrab, and we had great fun with it all over again. So I decided it was time to bring it back.

The idea is that you write half a sentence and leave it unfinished (most people write the first half, but there's nothing stopping you from giving us the other half instead). The next person to post finishes the sentence, making it apply to them. So a thread might run like thus:

1st poster: My favourite food is...
2nd poster: ravioli. What I like most about my job is...
3rd poster: the pay. ... is the best singer ever.

And so on, but be more imaginative than that!
