The "WOW I GOT MY XBOX" Post

This post is for everyone to post that they got their Xbox and how great it is. That way we don't get swamped with too many of the same topics. OK? Thought you'd understand.

"WOW" your cool Abe babe. And I have been playing my XBOX Debugger for about 3 hours now, just a warm-up. My 2 , that's 2 XBOX's will be coming via 1st class mail tomorrow morning. Along with 7 games. Sweet as can be. I have played Munch for 1 hour now, I can only say without spoiling that it is already got my heart pumping, seeing this game on a extra large HDTV with all the sounds of Oddworld circling around me with 5.1 Dolby surround sound is pure bliss. Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, finally.

WOW, i got one, but i'm not taking the time right now to drop down a bunch of impressions. just WOW. see all of you later today or the next (this all depends on just how damn engrossing munch is).

I'm not getting an XBOX, at least not for a long while, but I just want to say to all those who are: "Have a blast!" There's nothing quite like getting a new toy. I hope Munch's Oddysee is every bit as good as expected.

a quick break to do chores/eat/let friends play. i'm saving munch for later when i have time alone. halo is amazing. after playing the three launch titles i have, i recommend this system to anyone at all who likes videogames. off to do chores so i can get back into the game.

Conzumah: Real nice news. I have my 2 XBOX's, 2 extra large HDTV's set up side by side and 5.1 Dolby surround sound all set up blasting the living Hell out of all within 2 blocks of the Sharks Beach house in Newport Beach. And they thought Dennis Rodman was the only one with raging parties in Newport Beach. Well they ain't seen nothing yet.

My schedule, Munch tonight all alone with it's deep mystical feel and escape.

For now it's opening things up with Halo. Then tons of Multiplay action with the Sharkettes, cannot go anywhere without them, and my Brother and my best friend a fellow CG artist. Then it's full on Fusion frenzy time.

Project Gotham too will be getting some major time, with two XBOX's and linkage we will be multiplaying for a life time.

I also have Shrek, Nascar Thunder, DOA3, and in about 2 weeks Azurik, and F1 racing, it all begins now, and it will just get better with all that is coming in XBOX's next generation.

Well back later with some thoughts and impressions, and to hear your thoughts as well, see you later, it's off to Heaven now..........

WOW, I just hooked up my Xbox and WOW I just played Munch's Oddysee and WOW I CAN'T BELIVE HOW GREAT IT IS! I LOVE IT, THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT THE GAMEPLAY IS GREAT AND...WELL EVERYTHINGS JUST GREAT! IF ANYONE WANTS ME TO ANSWERE A QUESTION ABOUT THE GAME ID WOULD BE GLADE TO!

I too now join the ranks of Xboxers! This morning a work collegue in the US got me an Xbox!!! He will be leaving for Australia in 2 days so I should have it early next week.

When I found out I was on OddChat and Alf was there. And I typed "I GOT AN XBOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!". I was so excited.

I almost missed out though ... as the first store he went to they sold out while he was lining up. Then the second store had already sold out (in 10 minutes). However the third store he went to, he got the second last one and the last one was sold while he was paying for it.

I can't wait until next week... bring on Oddworld and the Xbox!!!

HOLY SHIZNIT! the BOX is more than i expected! it is sooooo beautiful. Munch is the only game at this point that i cant put down (ok, so i put it down to get online but thats different). Halo is great also, and I like Mad Dash Racing, but Munch is the best of the three without a doubt! mya the munch mayhem live on!

Wait a second here. Having this place is nice. But common this is a Oddworld Forum. Why are we being herded to one spot. So others can talk of anything other than Oddworld? That's what Off topic is for. If we talk here in one spot everything will be too convoluted in a short time. The ones without an XBOX or Munch because of lack of funds and or area in which they live are getting too pushy for this Shark. I say rub some more salt in there jealous wounds, hey this is Oddworld Forums, not a neutral Forum somewhere on the net. The heart and soul of this place is Munch, Oddworld everything, and XBOX. This has nothing to do with spoilers, we know where to put them, this has to do with a few people here making a great effort in stopping the real heart of this place, real talk of Munch. For God's sake, we wait forever for this game and now we are being given a small corner for Munch conversation, I say to Hell with that. I will talk here and everywhere else as anyone can. The outsiders have eyes, they can read what all the topics are about. If any spoilers get through Pilot will take care of them. Put them in there proper place, the spoilers section.

This is Oddworld Forums. I believe first and foremost Munch can be and should be talked of here. If others want off-topic talk, then go to Off-topic, but we should not be limited. With every topic we lucky ones come up with we get knocked and told to leave to a one thread place. I say I wiil leave this place forever if allowed to go to only one place. Things seem twisted around here since Munch came out. And I for one will not bend to there wishs.

I agree to not spoil the game for others but I would like to talk of my positive thoughts still in a Oddworld Forum for God's sake. Off to Oddworld I go, it's better there than at this Forum lately.

I think some people are getting the idea of this topic all wrong... I only created it so people can say that they "got" an Xbox... it wasn't designed so that posts "about" the Xbox have to go here.

If you want to start a topic on another Xbox game, do it. If you want to talk about Munch, head over to Oddworld Discussion. If you want to talk about the Xbox's graphics now you have it, you can start another topic too.

It just seem to get the feeling people are thinking that only Xbox and Munch comments have to be here. As I said, I just made it so people who got an Xbox can tell us they got one... that is all.

I hope that clears things up.

Man, I want an xbox just for Munch and Halo. Right now, those are the only two games I would spend money on. However, I won't buy a system just for two games. Maybe I'll buy one next year if, as Steel Shark said, "All the good games come out."
