Does this sound insane?

Okay, I was watching the news last night right. One of the stories was about the mall and its store Kaufmann's near by. getting robbed of $300 of dollars in jewlery missing. Mall was closed. You know how the burglar got the jewlery?

Well, He did the mission impossible technique! LOL! He cut a hole in the ceiling, and used a rope to let him down, and used some pliers to steal the jewlery to prevent the alarm systems from going off.
I find that hilarious. Not the concept that the jewlery was stolen, but how they stole it. (mission imposible music)

Only 300 bucks worth of stuff? You would think if he went through that much trouble to come from the ceiling, he would hvae made off with a whole lot more than 300 dollars worth of stuff... Maybe he couldn't afford an Xbox.

*snickers* Don't worry, Dripik - you didn't miss anything. The best movie where they do "the rope trick" is called Boondock Saints. It's about two Irish mercenaries who set off to kill local members of the Russian mafia. In one scene they're climbing through the air ducts above a big meeting between two important mafia guys and a whole heck of a lot of goons. They (by accident) break through the airvent and are trapped in their own ropes. They start spinning about the center of the room, unloading uzi's on the bad-guys. One of the funniest action scenes I've seen in a while.

Yeah, and by the way, I think the guy was a girl. It looked like one through the security cameras. But, they probably used the jewlery or something to buy a x-box! LOL

Hmmph. That's nothing. When my parents' jewelry store was robbed, the robbers stole $50,000 worth of jewelry. These were your everyday garden variety robbers, no special tricks or anything of the such. It's a fine thing we were insured.

Yes, Alcar. I have been informed of this wonderful promotion. Thanks for your friendly reminder. My friendly reminder to you is that your message was a little too off-topic for this thread. Don't take this too harshly because I'm here to make friends, not lose them, but as a moderator I'm obligated to set a good example. Thanks again.
