Post How many times have you finished a game?

I don't know about you guys, but Abe's Exoddus was the only game that I could have played over and over and over again. One holidays (being a loner) I grabbed the game and played it after it had not been touched for about 5 years. I started playing it and BAM through out the whole holidays I finished it 9 - 11 times. Non stop, I was literally playing it till about 11 each night then would go to bed, then wake up and play it

I was one weird little child.

I don't know about you guys but I think that is a great amount, I don't know if you would think this is weird but I only found out about a year ago there was an Abe's Oddysee and I played that, and I have only finished that once. But it wasn't as enjoyable as Exoddus ^_^

So the fellow members of the Oddworld Forums.
How many times have you finished an Oddworld Game?

PS. I lost the game

I've beaten Psychonauts a good fifteen times. Behind that would probably be Stranger's Wrath. I must have beaten that one at least ten times.

I played the original psone games way back when but I don't think I ever finished them. When I heard about the possible return of the series last year I began to play through all four games consecutively. PC then PS3 for Abes two titles and dusty old Xbox for the other two.

Abes Oddysee = 3 times
Abes Exoddus = 2 times
Munchs Oddysee = 2 times
Strangers Wrath = 2 times

I am now on play through 3 of the series (currently Exoddus). Loving it BTW.

I'm not gonna bother trying to think of how many times I have played non-Oddworld games. There are some games I just keep coming back to. Since this topic is talking about just the Oddworld games anyway, I'll stick to that.

Abe's Oddysee - 3 times (gonna be 4 soon)
Abe's Exoddus - Probably around 10-15 times
Munch's Oddysee - 1 time
Stranger's Wrath - 2 times (halfway through a 3rd time right now)

Oh, and uh...
Oddworld Adventures 2 - 2 times

AO - Maybe 3 or 4 times.
AE - I don't know, I've finished it too many times.
MO - Maybe twice or thrice.
SW - Once.

As for the handheld games, one time each.

Good guys
I must say, I have never played MO before :\ I shall one time but not any time soon.
I played SW once and that was at a Harvey Norman's store, but we were there for about an hour ^_^

Exoddus just had to be there number one, but, sadly I cannot play it anymore because my old step sister dropped a box on it :'( (The second disk btw.)

If you guys are talking about other games, I have finished Guitar Hero (All of them) about... well I have gotten ***** on every song on expert. Thats what you get for playing it 5 hours a day -_-'

Abe's Exoddus was one of my first games, even to this day I still find it challenging and i've never saved all 300...

and i've been though Abe's Oddysee a couple of times and have not even tried saving all 99

Megaman Battle Network 4, a solid 30 times, not because it's really good, but it requires you to play through the normal game mode at increasingly difficult levels three times just to technically have fully completed it once.
Strangers Wrath either 8 or 9 times.
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat: Maybe ten times. Maybe. Otherwise seven.

I've played through Quake II many times.

Sly Raccon and Sly 3 I've probably finished >5 times. Now that I've 100% the first, I've finished it for the last time, probably. My last 2 playthroughs were both 100% attempts.

Sly 2: 3 (100% on the last playthrough)
Jak and Daxter: the Precursor Legacy: Heaps. I used to love that game.
Ratchet and Clank 2 and 3: Again, I don't want to count. I used to love those, too.
Kingdom Hearts: About 4
Kingdom Hearts 2: Probably 3
Rayman 3: 3
Portal: close to 5. Not counting playing through bonus levels and such.

Do individual story mode/arcade mode playthroughs of BlazBlue count?

I've played through Resident Evil 4 and the first Metal Gear Solid close to a dozen times each. I used to play MGS religiously as a kid, still not bored of it.

Oh and LBP four times:
First time to beat the game, second time to get more goodies, third time with a friend to collect all prize bubbles, and fourth time to ace all levels. And I'm sure I'll be playing through it again because every time I sign into PSN my inbox is inundated with requests to help people get trophies.

But I don't usually play through a game more than once or twice 'cause I'm gay.

No, individual playthroughs of Arcade Mode on Blazblue so shouldn't count. I mean, it's not anywhere near the full game.

Anyway, non-oddworld games... I don't even know. All the games in the Zelda series, Silent Hill series, and Shin Megami Tensei series are really high. But I never actually bothered to keep count.

Playing through everyones story modes once really only requites just >3 hours at the most. Skipping all of the dialouge would probably reduce this more.

I've played through The Bouncer twice. I'm planning on upgrading all characters to S rank which will prabaly take 10 playthroughs.

Oh, other games now? I don't know. There are a lot of games I've finished, I can't remember them all. Either I finish a game once, or two or three times. However, the only game that I can think of right now that I've finished countless times is Castlevania Symphony of the Night.
