Psychonauts FOR A £1 on STEAM

GENTLEMEN START YOUR ORGASMING

Note: You should only start orgasming if you haven't played it or you really want to play it again, but cannot find it.

Personally I have just shot off in my boxers and blew a hole in front

Just bought it, only to find it requires twice as much disk space as I have on my Windows partition. Lame.

Go tell that to WoF. He's currently using you as an excuse for why he hasn't played it.

It's only $2 in the American currency Steam Store. I recommend everyone get a controller to play the game, as my experience playing the demo was that it felt pretty crappy on the keyboard controls.

No hurry, I've played it through to 100% completion several times already. I just thought, since my Xbox is never coming back, I'll buy it on Steam.

Oh shit, I installed it. There go the next few days of my life.

Sadly, this deal didn't last near long enough. I was describing it to a guy yesterday and when he seemed interested I hinted that I might buy it for him "Because a world where more people have played Psychonauts is a better world for all". Unfortunately, by the time I got home the deal had ended.

Still, how awesome was it that I was on a date with a guy for whom a present of a computer game would be considered much higher than flowers or chocolate?

That is pretty awesome. But I still don't understand, what's so awesome about THIS game? I mean yeah it seems okay but.. I haven't been wowed by anything just yet. I didn't even know psychonauts even existed until late last year

It's smart. It's funny. It's got brilliant characters. As you explore the camp, you will find masses of hidden subplot and subtext that no other developer would bother including. Some moments make you hurt inside with laughter. Other moments are just totally fucked up; if you have even a fraction of a soul, Clem and Crystal's subplot will grab at your heartstrings until, once again, you hurt inside (but for very different reasons). The milk is delicious.

I bought this game, started playing it, and then I don't know what happened. I got stuck on the thing with the button I think. I had the button, but then I did stuff and for some reason I didn't have it anymore, and I couldn't move on when I had to use it.
I've been meaning to play it again but I really hate double-work. Meaning having to play everything over again cos of something like glitches, not saving, already having played it.

Hm... Come to think of it, I think it's been long enough since I played it, that I wont be bothered, as I can't remember most things. It will feel like I'm playing it for the first time ^^

Are you sure you didn't just use the button to open the Geodesic PSYCHO-Isolation Chamber but then didn't realise it had been opened?

Anyway, good luck on your replay.

Well I really don't remember much... I just remember that you had to place that button on the stick, right? ... I didn't have the button when the time came.

May be remembering it completely wrong though

I heartily endorse this event or product. It feels a bit like Rayman 3, the characters are excellently played and it includes my poison, persistent hub areas.

'Is your name Joey? 'Cause I want to call you Slowy Joey.'
'My name's not Joey.'
'Can't hear you, Slowy! You're talking too slow!'

Wait until you get to the Milkman level. The spies have some of the best dialogue ever written.

"Over time my husband will desire me less sexually, but he will always enjoy my pies".

The other day I read through the campers' profiles that Tim Schafer created for each one as a character-development tool. Aside from pointing out some of the subtleties of relationships that weren't always obvious in the game, it's amazing the amount of backstory he had for each character. Even to the point of (my favourite character) Elton's dad being in the Navy and, after he died, Elton's mother turned to prostitution to support them.

It may be cheap right now on steam, but last I checked it was free off gametap.

Now that I thin about it I never got around to reinstalling it into my new hard drive.

Finally finished Psychonauts. I enjoyed it overall. If i didnt have high expecations for graphics because of all the new games, I would've loved it. So basically if I played it when it came out in 2005 or whatever I definately would've loved it
