Okay, that would have worked far better in a Spore topic. But it is true: it is not quite like Spore, and neither are the tools, but what you can do is very familiar in that sense.

I must say, this looks incredibly interesting. The sandbox at the start of the video does not really get the scope of possibilities across, but the four-way co-op level they made using these tools certainly does.
Basically you are a 2-3 inch rag doll, dubbed "Sackboy" who is customisable, some really cute avatars can be composed, and then you enter a makeshift landscape of house-hold items and arts/crafts paraphernalia from which levels, environments, tracks and other playable locales can be constructed. This is then published online for friends and strangers to enjoy.
Oh yeah, and it's for PS3. Anus.
