The End Over the Horizon
The sun kissed the face of the small, yellow grubb sitting near the parlor. He had a fishing pole lying next to him on the sand. It's beautiful, the sunset. Why does it always rise like this over this lake?. The sunset always made a bowl shape over the far away mountains. The mountains that marked the seperation between his world, and theirs.
"Everybody, gather 'round the fire. It seems that we have exellent news! It turns out that the Exono Mining has managed to gather up the funds to build the mining site afterall! It turns out that our investor has more trust in us than we expected!" the large, surly looking glukkon anounced. He had red skin, with a scar across his forehead from a mining accident. When the muddoken slaves heard this they moaned. They had expected that they would get a break. The mountain that they planned to dig into was stuffed full of gold, though mining it would likely cause the deaths of around sixty percent of the workers. The small camp set up around the large mountain would only last a few months, which was plenty of time for the new construction materials to arrive, which meant more work.
More to come, I just wanted to start a little real quick.
