early stages

This little guy is a new species i was working on a couple weeks ago..he's pretty much the rough draft..and the species is still in the early stages of production...but yeah these guys don't live on Mudos, so i'm not sure of what type of name to give them.
because my server sucks...last night the pic showed up, now it doesn't...

it is just kind of a shadowy area rettick, although i plan on making these guys smooth around the edges i guess....

Good sketch, you have here. It looks a little like a mudokon with a glukkon head (not the eyes, though). The fact that he is looking up gives us the impression that he is a small guy, maybe facing a bigger creature. Was it intentional?

yep- you got it.
i was thinking of making these guys about Munch's height, maybe a little shorter..
i kinda wanted to make them like warriors, but then i thought that's kind of typical so maybe they won't be spiritual or warriors..maybe they'll just be like little village dwellers that eat paramites..yeah little trappers...hmm but since they're not on Mudos, i guess they'll ahve to hunt something other than paramites..
i'm working on something else right now, and it'll be posted by tonight if anyone cares..

well my scanner is being rebelious and not scanning anything, so it may be awhile.
right now i just finished the rough sketch of a tree dwelling species..i think they will eat the guys i just posted a pic of (among other things)...

Thanks everyone for the feedback...this is that tree dwelling species i was talking about...they are carnivores and quite large..
i'd say they roughly the size of a big bro slig.

Oh and BTW, the pic of the head is just an example of their long tongue, much like a chameleons...sorry it's SOOOO smudgy, but my scanner picked up all my eraser marks..

That first one reminded me of a discussion about Glukkons..
There was some info on the OWI site about glukkon history that mentioned they used to be into Alchemy and some sort of accident almost wiped them out...
Somebody a quite some time ago thought they might've been trying to use their alchemy to make their hands match the print on the moon but accidently enlarged their arms and shrunk their legs...

Oh and about the drawing (good job BTW)..boy does he ever look angry. Somebody pickin on him?

the tree dwelling one looks more like it would drop down on somehthing than eat it with a tounge, but thats just my opinion.
