I really like the first one. Great work, SligStorm. It really looks like a level of some sort.

I really like these. I like the first one best though. They look like real levels in the game. Good work, Sligstorm. Keep it up.

These look pretty good, SligStorm, but I have some (hopefully) constructive critcism for you

You're obviously improving as you go along, because the newest ones look best, so I'll start with the oldest:

Rupturefarms: Ok, the biggest thing that jumps out at me here is the amount of objects with different levels of detail. For instance, the main parts of ground look relatively realistic, apart from the bad tiling (I'm guessing the texture you used wasn't quite aligned right, which has made it look sort of disjointed instead of like one smooth texture). But then you see the bucket of water, which almost looks "cartoony" in comparison, and the mines seem sort of flat when they're put in that 3d-looking environment. Also, I'd suggest trying to make the part at the top a bit darker, as it seems out of place.
However, what I think looks worst about this is the places where you've taken bits of real Oddworld levels and put them onto your one, e.g. the ledges that Abe is climbing up and the grinder. The Oddworld background looks fine, but connecting parts of the Oddworld levels to what you've made makes it look kinda messy. So I'd suggest trying to make ledges and such like that yourself in your 3d program. It might take a bit longer, but it will make the levels look much better in the end

Monsaic Lines: This one actually looks quite impressive. The only real problems I have with it are that the vertical poles don't look like they're connected to the horizontal ones and that Abe doesn't seem to match his background (which is actually a point with all these pictures). I'm not sure why the poles don't seem to be connected, perhaps the bottom of the vertical poles need to have their shape adjusted slightly to sort of mould to the horizontal ones?

Slogainia1: This one looks pretty cool, you used a real photo for the background, didn't you? It actually looks quite good there, my only suggestion would be to try using one that doesn't have the mountains coming back towards the viewer (if you look at the edges of the foreground, it kinda looks... weird). The white parts on the metal structure look a bit odd, but apart from that, good job.

Slogainia2: I'd say pretty much the same thing with this one as the last one, but because it has some sprites in it too I'll make a few comments on those. So I see you've used Oddworld tiles in your level again, which makes it looks odd, so I'd suggest making your own tipping platform object in your 3d program, and once again the mines look flat. But I think these problems could easily be fixed by getting better sprites; it's not actually a problem with the level but the sprites you've put in the level.

So on that note, that's really what I think the biggest problem here is; the sprites. When you've got levels that look that cool, it just doesn't do to have sprites that look bad up against it, does it? So I'd suggest getting better sprites, I know these are official Oddworld sprites, but they don't seem to be any where near the quality of the originals. I expect the original sprites will look fine once you get them in better quality. But see how Abe, the slogs, the slig, and the chant suppressors all sort of look "blocky?" If they look a bit smoother and if you can get rid of the black outline, they'll look much better. (Though I would recommend not editing a sprite with MS Paint colours - as it looks like you did with the slig)

Oh, and one other thing you can do to improve the sprites is, try to see if you can add a shadow. Even if you just make a black circle in Paint or something and add it in transparently, it does a lot to making the sprites look like they belong there instead of just being drawn over the top.

So yeah, I hope this helps and don't take it the wrong way, if it sounds like I'm nit-picking it's just because I want to help you get this as good as you possibly can But it looks very promising, and now I know who a good person to look to for help would be when I get around to designing my own Oddworld styled game I have in mind.

Since you just mentioned a game anyway Zangg and me are gonna take over again with ROA (Random Oddworld Adventures) instead of using the oddworld engine.
