The end of Stranger's Wrath; analysis

So let's see if I got this right. The ending was a little confusing for me.

Glukkons (like Sekto... Sekto was a Glukkon, right?) are actually parasitic, octopus-like-creatures who use animals (like the elder steef) as hosts so that they can move around out of the water...? Is that right?

Ahh, I just noticed there is already a thread like this 0_o
Oops. Well, that doesn't mean we still can't analyze the ending! Does it?

Nope, but you are close. Sekto is an Octigi, a creature on the same liniage as the Glukkons. The Glukkons have complete bodies, while Octigi had apparently evolved beyond the need for a body and are simply small, skittering calamari.

Glukkon external anatomy.

The picture you linked to does not appear to depict tentacles, but a pair of scrawny legs. Sekto had tentacles. Unless I am somehow looking at the image incorrectly... :X

Whoops, sorry for the double post.

The answer to your post is down that-a-way, Yaysteef.

...Because Sekto isn't a Glukkon.

Sekto is an Octigi.

Those little creatures on the bottom and the guy on the right were the only concepts released for the Octigi.

Yeah, I know. It's strange to look at a Glukkon and then at an Octigi and say, "Huh. These guys are related?"

I agree here. But I never thought of calamari as a type of relation...O.o... I'll never see calamari the same way again, thats for sure... yea... Sekto is am Octigi.
