I've never seen 'Catwomen' though i had the chance to recently when my uncle rented it [i didn't want to, 'cos i was so disgusted by many-a-fact which shall be listed now]. The reason being -
A) The outfit.
B) The name change [Patience].
C) The studio's decision to say "No, don't change the name. Just ruin a whole franchise of amazingness!"
D) Halle Berry saying she'd rather do a 'Catwomen 2' than a 'X-men 3'.
Catwoman from 'Batman Forever' was 'kin amazing! Sleek, black, anti-hero with an amazing outfit. So many good films could've been made for that now that the Batman franchise is being re-done *Crosses fingers it's done properly*
But no. Now they can't even use the 'Catwoman' name, 'cos it's tied into that SILLY, SILLY film. Ugh.
EDIT: And the 'Resident Evil' films! They irritate me highly. Why not stick to the storyline? Why screw everything up?
It was written by the same guy who directed 'Alien Versus Predator', which is why i was worried in the first place. What he should've done is -
'Resident Evil: Volume Chris Redfield' [crap title, i know, but it's a spare of the moment thing] this would be more or less the same story as the second one 'Volume Jill Valentine'. But the two stories would interlope, Chris following Wesker and Jill following Barry [of course, if the film was released Jill's would be released first, so everybody suspects Barry].
Then after those two have finished 'Resident Evil: Volume Claire Redfield' and 'Volume Leon Kennedy'. Then, after that 'Resident Evil: Volume Nemesis'. And so on and so forth, until we get to the last one in the series. Of course, all of these will have a few extra characters, all of them having the same one character in each one, maybe for a brief moment. Maybe in the background. Maybe as a main character. But, that all gets tied up in the final film 'Resident Evil: Volume Umbrella'. Which see's the mystery character's initial journey throughout the films, and motives etc.
