Parental Ratings

Just like the "Release Dates" thread, I'm having a bit of trouble determining the exact ratings for all Oddworld games, in all three major gaming markets. It seems everything on the Internet is in the ESRB format, so the United States is covered. But the UK rating is no where to be found. And the same for the Japanese rating. So if anyone from the United Kingdom and Japan (I think I'll go ask Atusiya) with the games could go an look on there game packs for the rating, I'd appreciate it

I realise the UK version is PAL like Australia, but our parental ratings are different. By the way, I'm basically counting Europe as the United Kingdom.

EA made MO did they not? They usually give the game an age rating plus they put down a catagory/ies on what the content is. Eg: 12, drugs, violence. This can usually affect what rating they give the game.

For my UK version of Munch's Oddysee (Xbox version, of course), it has 11+ on it.

You can also just about see the '11' in the bottom corner here and though it is a re-realease under the 'Classics' thing, the normal box has the same rating.

In the US it's T and it got 9.0 out of 10

I realised before too late that I actually had the ELSPA ratings already. As it happens, I ordered second copies of Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus because my originals were badly in need of repair, and I had even misplaced the Abe's Oddysee manual - so I got the pair of them from the UK

So, Munch's Oddysee is 11+?

Why do us americans have to be more protective on what we show the little ones, 11, 13 same thing. I also have a second UK version of the AO and AE when I ordered then off the ebay. Did anybody see if that AE in Spanish was still on Ebay, if so I want it just for getting it.
