Stranger Timeline

This may have already been debated or dis/proven by a member of Oddworld (and if it has just ignore this and delete it), but do you think Stranger is set before the others? Instead of just in a different country where they're technologically behind?
So, whats up with that???

I believe Stranger take's place in the same time line as the Quintoligy... not sure though...

To further refine the time, the original EGM article says it takes place immediately after the events of Munch's Oddysee (which would make it at the same time as MO GBA, wouldn't it?

). But then, that was an incredibly preliminary report.

And I disagree that they're technologically behind. They just seems to be less industrialised. And it definitely takes place in the same country.

it is only speculation Scrab-O-Rama could be in the game

Scrab-O-Rama in Stranger? Where did that rumour start up? Is there any news articles behind it? It would be a great idea to include things that are referenced in previous games, as it gives the game more of a diverse background.

well, it started in the forums, we were talking about references of the previous games in Stranger, and somebody came back with Scrab-o-rama, because it was about hunting

That's not really true. We just don't know for sure, but it doesn't mean that it won't be in there.

Stranger takes place in a different locale from the last games.

Scrab-O-Rama was in the Mudanchee Vaults.

Which was in one of the last games.

Doesn't mean they don't have scrab environments in Stranger, The Magog Cartel is trying to spread as wide as possible meaning they could have a Scrab-O-Rama anywhere there's scrabs.
