Good gravy, I've really started something here.

I am about two thirds done on my next comic, but I'm waiting to hear from Dripik before I can finish. It's a funny one though! plays off some more melodrama cliches, and includes a truly awesome perspective shot!

I stole an old version of photoeditor from my old windows98 computer. Unfortunately I don't have anything that converts to greyscale... so you'll have to make do with colour:

If you want it wont take too long to put that transparency thing up to download (but I'm not sure about legality)

I convert to greyscale using the archaic method of copying and pasting the picture into Microsoft Powerpoint, going to print preview and setting it to greyscale. Then I screenshot the result, which gives me either the whole picture or at the very least the shades of grey i need, depending on how large it is. Yarr.

(alright, i just wanted an excuse to use that emote).

Dripik, do you have a picture of MicroD in uniform with legs? I need one for my almost-finished comic and I fear doing one myself and not doing it justice.

It has taken me many, many hours (seriously) but it's finally finished. You guys better appreciate this.

Cue the 'Peril' music; Rosemary's in trouble again. And only one man can save her.
(Once again full colour version is available as a thumbnail.)

Also see attachments for the full UltraTrain 200; I drew it in full and probably won't ever use it again so here it is.

Finally, someone got Dripik! (And it was me! I guess I get to keep the reward then!)

Undoubtedly that was the most ambitious image I have done for this thread. I don't know if I'll do another silent movie comic cus I'm getting really sick of decorating the text boxes(saying that you know I'm going to end up doing ten more).
MicroD and Rosemary actually shared quite a tender moment then; couldn't let that last

So all those WOTA characters that suddenly disappeared without a trace? They probably dated Rosemary.

I love the idea of MicroD spread-eagled onto the front of the train.
But my very favourite part of that was the perspective-shot of the train in panel four.

Great work, Splat. Real melodrama theme, UltraTrain was a cracker, too. Your drawing skills have rather improved lately, nice job.

That's supposed to be what happens to the army.

Though Chester isn't in jail, he's in a Top Secret Government 'Rehabilitation Centre' for the Criminal Addict, where addicts are sobered up, tortured for information and brainwashed into becoming pleasent and functional members of society programmed to go on a pro-government-advertising-spree when the secret trigger word is spoken in their vicinity.

My computer crashed really hugely an hour or so ago. I want to draw an image but it depends on whether my laptop behaves.

Also, now I'm envisioning Dennis and his posse on public transport...
Someone needs to draw that!!!

Mudling, might I suggest that you use a clearer font for speech and maybe save your images as png not jpeg? It'd make everything a lot clearer.

Carnix, the background of my pictures in the torture chamber isn't pure black; its grey. Your last picture was covered in black sqaues where you'd blanked out my text and characters. But amusing!

Mudling; the first one was fairly funny. The second, i have no idea what was going on.

Ah yes I can help there. Go into veiw while the text button is selected. go down to Text tool or something like that. In there you should be able to change it.

Oh, and the commic book guy dies by the SPUD star and the ship that's seen crashing into it.
But the two places could very well be the same place.

Ok, I'll try and make more sence.

I'm trying to do them all during the weekend while I have time so I'm kind of rushed.
Oh, and that's because we don't have that grey in paint, which I'm assuming carnix is using, the other solution is to change the backround all black, so you don't see the odd blotches.

Text toolbar, not text tool. That'll let you change font and size.
While we're on the matter, could you delete the dialogue from previous frames when you start a new one?

Also, if you click on the icon just above the pencil in paint (the one that looks a little like a dagger) and then click on the colour on the picture that you want it'll select that colour. So click on the dagger, then click on my grey background, and you'll have that colour. It's very simple.

Or if you click 'colours' on the toolbar at the top, then 'edit colours', then on the box that appears 'define custom colours' you'll be able to pick any colour known to mankind.
