I loved every second of single player, and am loving every second of the Co-op. I'm different.

EDIT:
:
All in all I think Portal 2 is how Portal 1 was originally envisioned if they would have had the time and budget to work out a story and better environments. In Portal Aperture Science is just a company with no identity. Glados is just a murdering computer. Panels were movable but not in the way they are shown in Portal 2 where every possible shape is available.

I don't think Valve ever expected Portal to become such a huge succes and expected it to remain an indy game. Their insane marketing for Portal 2 shows they want people to see it as a full game, not a random mod or indy game.
No one ever saw it as a random mod or an indy game. Just a short game. Where do you get all of this stuff from? Oh yeah. Your ass.

EDIT:

:
To be honest I don't think there's much to spoil. The active 'plot' isn't insanely thick and the plot twist can be seen coming from a mile away. There's many times more backstory in Portal 2 than actual present day story. Which is good because I tend to like backstory more anyway. I just loved running around in those old worn and plant infested test chambers, even seeing some of the old chambers from Portal 1 now completely destroyed.
Yes there is. If anyone'd spoiled any of the dialog or plot I'd have slapped them.

I used to think you were acting stupid as some kind of joke or to wind me up, but jesus. You really are the stupidest person on these forums.

Did anyone else make a connection between Cave Johnson saying something like "I want Caroline to take over from me if I die. You'll have to make her though, as she's quite modest" and GLaDOS trying to kill everyone immediately after being switched on?

Yep, her backstory is even labelled as "tragic" by the developers commentary if I remember correctly.

I just completed it a second time - It has as much developer commentary as the first game, but considering the length of this one, I was expecting a bit more than that. It was still insightful, but it only gives you a tiny glimpse behind the scenes.

I hope Valve release another "Raising the Bar" book.

Holy balls. Just beat it, then restarted from "This is the part..." and did it over again. I loved this game. Adored it even. I have Xbox Live again, if anyone wants to play Co-op. It is literally one of the most enjoyable, entertaining games I've ever played. I loved every second of it. (except for the test where you have to use the bouncy gel to kill the turrets for the first time. That took me FOREVER). I'm so glad I didn't spoil it for myself.

You too huh? I hated that one, and the one before it where you have to bounce portal over a gap through a pusher tunnel thing. Fuck that one.

I found that one easy once I sat down and thought about it and THE FUCKING CUBE STOPPED RUNNING OFF THE BUTTON.

That really pissed me off in the later levels. There I was about to finish a test chamber and the cube decides it's sick of standing on it's button. I was quite good at dropping them on their back by the very end.

Does the secret area in Test Chamber 17 go anywhere? I've found the oddly-shaped room and the corridor below it, but is that it? I don't want to look off into the distance of that ruined area looking for a spot to shoot a portal unless I know I'm going to find something.

Finally got my hands on Portal 2 today, it didn't cost me that much and I'm having fun with the co-op. Singleplayer seems really promising and all, but it seems like it's pretty short. Anyways, definitely enjoying it.

It's a lot longer than the first one I'll tell you that. And much harder.

I fucking loved every second playing it. I may even re-play it tomorrow it's that good. On my first playthrough I honestly thought that Justin Lee Collins was voice acting in the game then I figured out (due to my Google abilities) that it is in fact Stephen Merchent.

Funny fellow he is.

I had to return it to Blockbuster today. Sucks, because the only reason I rented it was because I can't afford the Steam version, and I wanted to play the co-op version, but the PSN is down so I couldn't log in. I really would have liked to play multiplayer.

Is there a separate storyline in co-op mode, or is it just a bunch of interchangeable test chambers?

There is a storyline of co-op, It about robots being tested in the most advanced chambers that Humans couldn't never do and also. Humans cannot be trusted.

Yeah it would freak out and the components would spaz out and glitch into each other.

BTW, did anyone notice this when you first enter the turret redemption line? In-game it's quiet and subtle, but hearing it clearly reveals it to be swan song by broken turrets: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqML1FYsdFs There's something creepy about broken robots... Especially when Wheatley is guiding you through the darkened factory and talks about how you can sometimes hear the screams of robots that were ripped apart in a rampage by the old caretaker. This is from that part.
