What torch?

Also has anyone noticed that rarely is there anyone speaking truth about where they live? Like I say I'm in oddworld, meech says he's 'under the iron sea', Alexfilli says he's in a slig barracks (but in england) Slig75 says he's in the 'mists of time', but Guekko says she's in England.
Weird.

IC: As the panel knocked over the Zombie, he heard Dore offering help.
"Lets finish him off!" Rook replied. he then loaded another clip into the pistol and fired at the downed zombie (Dice roll)

OOC: I love to see teamwork in action.

Like my characters announced earlier, I'm trying to get everyone to crawl through the vent to get to some weapons/ammo. From there we should be able to make our way to the entrance.

= End of Hour Seven =

Riles continues fixing the jeep - 3, Jeep is now fully fixed and operational.
Dore's shotgun blast at Zombie Slig - 4, Zombie Slig takes damage. Slig Zombie #1 - Severely Damaged.
Krivzee shoots at the zombie slig that Guekko's dealing with. - 5, Zombie Slig takes damage. Slig Zombie #2 - Severely Damaged.
Chag using the blowtorch. - 4, Blowtorch works fine.
Chag for shooting the Creeper. - 4, Blowtorch singes the CJ. CJ - Injured.
Guekko tries a bit of ankle-zapping with the prod. - 3, The Slig Zombie is zapped. Slig Zombie #2 - Dying.
Rook then loaded another clip into the pistol and fired at the downed zombie. - 5, Downed Zombie takes damage. Slig Zombie #1 - Dying.

TEAMWORK COMBO BONUS!
(Seriously though guys, job well done!)

Mystery Character slices in the Creeper's stomach with an army knife. - 6, The Creeper shrieks in pain as the Mystery figure manages to cut open it's chest to reveal Byron, still alive. But not quite Wolvark anymore...

The Creeper : Hour Eight
---------------------

Moyris is quite surprised to see Kipricat and Rigel. "Thank Ode that you got out of there. Come on, let's provide some cover for the guys inside. Moyris headed to the door and aimed his pistol there, protecting them from the Zombies that could come out of the factory.

Two new Mudokon Zombies appear near A, (Mudokon Zombie #2 and Mudokon Zombie #3). Moyris prepares to fire his pistol at MZ#2.

Riles begins starting up the Jeep.

OOC: Dore is in the electrical room. really wasn't expecting that about Byron.

IC: Dore heard Rook's reply and saw him fire also, leaving the slig zombie writhing on the floor, dying. noticing Chag's predicament, and succumbing to the responsibility of a weapons specialist's job, he decided they stood a chance if they worked together.

he pointed up at Chag (this is assuming he is being held aloft by the Creeper Junior, if not, i'll edit later) and said to Rook; "we gotta take this bastard down before it crushes Chag!"

once again, he fired his shotgun, this time emptying 3 shells into the Creeper Junior.

IC: Three flashes went past Chag's face and embedded themselves in the burnt flesh of the Creeper Junior. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Dore, shotgun raised. He was trying to save him! Now fighting with more confidence, he let out another blowtorch blast at the Creeper *DR*, smashing it with the blowtorch itself for good measure *DR*.

As Krivzee shot the zombie, Guekko finished it off. "Come on, let's head to the southeast room" he said to Guekko. As he made his way there, he looked around for anything.

That was certainly a surprise to Guekko, being assisted in dealing with the zombie. He turned to Krivzee with a blink, switching off the cattleprod and awkwardly manouvering it to his pocket, where it would now share a spot with the odd thing he picked up earlier and now the two other items he had found. It was certainly best that he stick with the slig, defending himself really was not what he was good at, so he scuttled along behind Krivzee into C.

IC: Kipricat was releived to see the jeep, Moyris and even Riles. Looking back only to shoot at a zombie *Requires Dice roll MZ#3*, he scrambled for the jeep, and huddled himself against the relative safety of the door. Wondering if anyone esle besides him, Rigel, Riles and Moyrsi would escape, or were even alive, he prepared to shoot at any remaining zombies that got too close.
OOC: Kipricat intends to stay by the jeep and secure Rigel and his own safety first.

Moyris prepares to fire his pistol at MZ#2 - 4, MZ#2 takes damage. MZ#2 - Injured
Riles begins starting up the Jeep. 2, Engine whines but begins to start.
Dore fires 3 shotgun blasts at Creeper Junior - 5,6,3. Creeper Junior takes damage, before being blown to chunks. Creeper Junior - Dead.
Rigel aims at MZ#3 and shoots - 1, The shot misses.
Crag let out another blowtorch blast at the Creeper - 5, Creeper takes damage. Creeper - Severely Injured.
Crag smashes it with the blowtorch itself for good measure - 1, The blowtorch didn't have any effect on the creature, becoming embedded in the ooze.
Krivzee searches C - Cancelled, because of all the Zombie activity.
Kipricat shoots at MZ#3 - 5, MZ#3 takes damage. MZ#3 - Injured.
Rook fires at CJ - 5, The small chunks of CJ were shot by Rook.

The Creeper : Hour Nine
---------------------

The final hour...

Moyris yells, "Okay everyone, get to the Jeep fast!". He took one last shot at MZ#2 before heading into the Jeep and getting in the driver's seat. Riles moved aside and climbed into the back part of the Jeep (Think of it was one of those army transport vehicles).

Byron smiles, "Thanks for that, I wasn't ready to die yet". Byron spat blood onto the floor and wiped his army knife clean. Byron's body looked a bit strange, probably due to the acid and zombie attacks. Byron pointed towards the exit and headed to A, where the Jeep was.

IC: Kipricat heard Moyris loud and clear, and he wanted nothing more than to hop on with him, but his inner consience told him to wait just a bit longer. He picked the latter. Besides, if anything did come at him, he could just jump into the back of the jeep as soon as he needed. Spotting Rigel, who seemed to have picked the same thing as him, he shot at the oppostie zombie (MZ#2) *Requires Dice roll*
'Where's everyone else? We came here with... 15 I think, and we've only got... Moyris, Rigel, Riles and me.' Wondered Kipricat.

OOC: i think i may have gotten mixed up. so the Creeper is holding Chag, not the Creeper Junior? atleast the CJ is dead now, anyway. seeing as this is the final hour, it looks like Dore, Rook and Chag will have to somehow manage to get out of there. alive, and not undead, preferably.

IC: Dore thinking drastically, tossed his shotgun into his left hand were he held it by the barrel, and pulled out the mine. military experience showing through his stupidity, he shouted up to Chag, above the din; "Chag! activate this sucker and stick it in its goo or summat. then get the fuck off it, quick. i got a feelin' Moyris is gonna leave without us."

He threw the mine up to Chag for him to catch. he knew they had no time to waste; Moyris and Riles would leave without them if they didn't get out soon, and he didn't have his headset any more, cancelling the opportunity to radio in that they were still alive.

"reckon you can get yourself off it in time?"

OOC: i'll leave it up to MM to decide whether Chag catches the mine or not, as this is the last hour (and it requires another hour to determine dice rolls).

IC: As the CJ shrank away in pain as it died, Chag heard Dore shout, and span around to find a mine heading towards his face. He ducked down to catch it. There were sure to be more mini-Creepers heading down the vent. Slamming the flashing Arm button with his palm, he threw it into the vent, where it landed in the CJ's corpse with a satisfying squelch. '*BS* Let's get out of here before this place blows!' Chag swooped down and attempted to lift Dore up. 'Screw the others! *BS*'

IC: Krivzee knew he should run, but he wasn't ready. This monster had killed many good slig/mud/creepy-octupus-things today. He decided to run. But boy o boy, he was coming back. "Cmon gluk. We should get out of here." Krivzee started to bolt to the exit, his legs on overdrive.

"Also I don't belive I got your name?"

Krivzee runs for the jeep.

OOC: hope this second post is alright, AlexFili, its just to confirm the escape. my last post was the 'fight' move, and this is the 'movement' move, i couldn't put it in the same post as i needed to know how Chag would react.

IC: He watched Chag throw the armed mine down the vent shaft, swoop down and grab him. as he was lifted up, he tossed his shotgun to Rook, exclaiming; "get the hell goin', bud! run for it!"

as they gained height, he noticed, in all the excitement and high adrenaline levels, something as trivial as his stomach churning. he remembered he had never 'flown' before, therefore wasn't used to it.

Chag and Dore fly the quickest escape route from the factory, towards the jeep

IC: Rook caught the shotgun and ran as fast as he could to the jeep. "Hold the jeep! Hold the Jeep!" He screamed into the mic. Rook could see the jeep and he was determined to make it out of here more than ever.

Guekko whines as the slig he is following speeds off. Okay, glukkon with a limp getting out of a warehouse fast as he could, much easier said than done. Well, there was always hopping, that was faster than scurrying. So what more was there to do? Guekko made a trail of as quick as he could glukkon hoppings after the slig, glowing eyes looking about him briefly to make sure that nothing had plans on eating him. He hoped that his slight speed problem due to his being a glukkon meant that he wouldn't make it back in time, this is the last place he wanted to be trapped.

IC: Guekko's eyes turned to the slig next to him. Simple enough question, even if they were about to die, well why not? "Guekko." He spoke, still hopiing along, "I-it is Guekko. I never g-got your name eith-er."

OOC: It took me about 2 minutes to figure out Krivzee's last name. Oh well...nice that Krivzee now knows Guekko's name.

OOC: I'm not posting as Chag again, I just wanted to share my vision of Chag & Dore's escape. Close your eyes and imagine... (Unless you can't read with your eyes shut):

Chag swoops down and lifts Dore up around the torso (Ã* la 'Buzz and Woody'). Dore flings the shotgun to Rook as he is swept into the air. Chag turns up the throttle on his wings, approaching the door of H as just a cloumn of flame roars out of the vent (Ã* la 'Matrix Elevator'), shooting them round the corner into C. D&C fly towards our viewpoint as explosions tear across the walls, the giant strip lights shutting off one at a time behind them as our pair struggle to stay ahead of the carnage. Switch back to a viewpoint behind as Chag effortlessly banks the corners, the light of the main doors showing, filling our view until D&C are just a black blob in a load of white, the firey orange glow flickering across their backs... Cut to a shot from outside the facory as our plucky young Sligs fall and tumble out of the door, rolling across the grass and coming to rest by the jeep.

Did it happen? Probably not, since I doubt everybody is going to shift their characters around just to fit my artistic vision. Is it a cliche? Yes. Is it awesome? Hell yeah.
