Yeah, let's assume JAW and OWI have no idea what they're doing and wouldn't be able to make it work. Great faith in their abilities.

i hope they make it so you don't have the ability to chant until a certain point, to give abe a bit more development/progression.
I was going to say that, but then what about the Mudokons that need rescuing? Or maybe just make the first level an escape sequence.

1. Will the other quintology protagonists have their own moons?

2. Are there any plans to explore other continents that isn't Mudos?

I don't think it was ever meant to be future Earth (you might be thinking of Citizen Siege), but there was a time when it was an unspecified 'Not Oddworld' location. Now that Lorne isn't managing a studio full of artists who want their own projects, it's definately set back on Oddworld.

Will there be any emotional mudokons in New 'n' Tasty?
The Mudokons will have more personality and individuality, but that won't manifest as a gameplay mechanic like in Abe's Exoddus.

:
I wonder if JAW/OWI have any plans to try and canonise your ability to chant pre-Big Face illumination in the remake?
We did have an idea, but it was too expensive and problematic to consider.

I think there's something about that in the rules.

It would certainly be an interesting concept, a game revolving around some sort of endoparasitoid which invades a host and replaces their tissue with its own before taking control of the host's brain through the neurones or something. You could look at cordyceps for inspiration.

Alright, so me and STM were having an argu-debate about Rupturefarms. How much of the Rupturefarms you play in AO is actually inside? Cause my theory was that a proportion of the parts you play in AO are actually on those expansive catwalks outside the facility you see in the intro with only the later areas being inside the main facility. Answer and help an old married couple?

You can usually see definite walls when you're inside. If you're outside and in a place as congested with machinery and obscured with pollutants as Rupturefarms seems to be, and then placed on a 2D axis with fixed perspective then you most likely wouldn't be able to see the sky.

Inside? Yes, walls and ceilings.

Outside? Maybe, just catwalks pipes and pillars like outside Rupturefarms.

I think Rupture Farms is just meant to be ridiculously huge, like everything else on Oddworld (and the planet itself, for that matter). Lots of cavernous spaces and whatnot.
