Dryadri, those pictures are awesome! Ramon is very cool and somewhat scary, the slig is... somewhat scarier, and Eva looks awesome! I really look forward to hearing more about her (Just to really pile on the pressure ) I actually really like how different she is from Zoe. It's a cool contrast. Is she gonna be native?

Quick update since no one replied. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas or whatever it is you celebrate if not Christmas. I finally got my sticky hands on an Xbox360 and MO, I haven't played that game since 2002! I missed playing around with slogs, sligs and interns XD They're so much fun to possess.

Anywho, speaking of interns I did a quick sketch of the dude who looked after Zoe. He's nothing special, just your standard intern only a little thinner and doesn't wear a cap (that's because Zoe has it ). He still doesn't have a name though =/ I just can't think of one at all.
He has a scar on his left eye where Zoe knocked acid on him when she was a baby, it doesn't stand out a lot, the skin is a bit pinker than the rest of his face and the eye is clouded over.

Second is what a worker class dyadri might look like, this guy is wild because he's a fisherman. He's not overly important as his mane isn't huge and he doesn't have a lot of body paint.

Also been writing up a little about Eva and stuff, she's gonna be the simple, good looking one, an escapee from Splinterz thanks to Abe and Munch.

That guy's a freed/escaped worker, so now he is a native...just a 'new' one. Eva's story keeps changing when I find something I don't like xD Writing is so annoying.
I have no idea, funnily enough I was wondering the same thing to myself. I was thinking both, his name could originally be written as a proper name, but as Zoe develops her 'language' it could be turned into a gesture.

I still have to think of a name to start with though xD

Quick update School has started again so I won't be putting up many coloured pieces..not that I have been lately anyway

Firstly here is a small animation I did of a rat hopping, I'm hopefully gonna finish this (the tail smoothness needs sorting first) but until then, just a sketch ^^ You wouldn't believe how frustrating it was to keep it smooth!

Second is Eva, Eve or Evelyn (which is her full first name), I only managed to colour this this afternoon because our school panicked at the first sight of snow and called a snow day. There was supposed to be a wall or something where her hand is and a background but I never got the time to finish.

Both look very cool. I think that rat is gonna be one of those things that looks at least as good as a sketch as the finished product It's very stylish. And Eva also looks very cool. Love her hair And her clothes - well drawn.

...and I reused my old lineart to do that intern, it's a generic intern lineart, he's not as round as that and in this picture shouldn't be wearing a cap because Zoe is.
It was too late to change them as they were sketched desperately and I just stuck them together...if that makes sense? Plus...I'm lazy.

Haha, yes she does xD I didn't intend for her stance to give that impression, but it does! It makes sense though, the Dryadri are vicious monsters when angered.

Yes, as I said I have a name for the intern guy as suggested by the might Moosh (or Cylonite on deviantART). It's a simple hand gesture (because that's how Zoe communicates if you didn't know) that translates as 'Nye' (pronounced nigh to us) when written down.

Something about Eva should be coming soon, I kept making these spontaneous ideas for her, the latest being to do with ghosts, but keep putting myself down after thinking it's all too extreme.

The whole idea with the scrab was inspired by 'Water on Mars' the Doctor Who episode where the woman who I don't remember the name of (sorry ^^ says something like...

"It looked at me, it stared right into me....then it simply went away"

Edit: Also, please ignore the lack of detail on the scrab and the scribbles, I got frustrated and lost control of my pencil.

I'm still unsure, if it were the Mudokon then it would be some sort of "ghost" providing I go along with m ghost idea. Lol, I never even thought of that, I may do a similar picture for fun with that idea, but I'd like to keep this one serious

Yeah it's Eva, but she's only half Dryadri, it's obvious to me what the other half of her is (obviously, since I made her) but you can have a cookie if you get it.

I haven't updated in a while, mainly because I've been too busy with...stuff.
I saw Avatar And someone has commissioned me to draw them as a Na'vi, so I may post that when I get it done.

For the moment I've only managed to get a little bit of the sketch with kid Eva, my new style (if it sticks) has no lines, more like a painting.
