There's an exception to every rule, but he's right. Pop music has always been primarily about selling a product, and not about creating. The occasional Radiohead, or Modest Mouse will slip through, but it doesn't change the rule. Pop is garbage. Always has been. Always will be.

Even the music that hasn't been autotuned is bad. As OANST said, it isn't even about the singing or musical arrangements or shit like that. The music is there only to make lots of cash and if it doesn't, get the fuck off their label.
