Can you tell me what you don't like about them? And I don't mean this in a "Holy shit, you don't like them? Fuck." kind of way, since whether they're good or not is subjective. I'm just interested, as I hear this a lot.

There are some great death/black albums, instantly i can say bloodbath has had some gooduns and ulver's black metal trilogy was ace.

they make weird music for faux weirdies. it's trying too hard to be something for me to enjoy it, like it was made for a purpose, instead of being made for the sake of being music.

i was reminded of this down the local last night. god, how could i have forgotten it.

EDIT: i've had this in my playlist for ages, and it hasn't been mentioned so far so i thought i plonk it in, too.

old ones are my favourites, i haven't come across anything more recent that can top stuff like this in my mind.

Dunno if any of you heard about Emilie Autumn. She's sort of a punk/industrial/gothic singer but not really :P She's quite versatile imo.
