Bought Cloverfield on dvd a few days ago. Holds up on the small screen, but it has nowhere near as much impact when not on a huge screen with an extra loud sound system. Still worth $15, definately great.
I took my daughter to see it twice. I quite liked it. I appreciated that they chose to tell the story through mostly body language instead of dialogue.
It's from Earthworm Jim, the level where you're inside a body as a cave slamander, the other music to it is utterly horrifying when used in that context.
I hired Dragon Wars recently, and Kastere got it damn right. I was expecint something bmoviesque, but it was actually just crap. shop at the start was really 'do u want a moogwai' too

I've just seen "Agente Smart - Casino Totale" (in english, Get Smart). It's a good film and very funny, especially the part where the protagonist dances with the fat woman.

Just found out that Dr Horrible was back up on the net for free, allowing skint bums like me to watch it again, was just as good second time.
Free and perfectly legal streaming ftw, do not watch if you don't like musicals.
