Excuse me? Is there a certain age at which one can experience love? Does love need to be certified by an outside observer? Do other people have to think one is in love for one to be in love?

I hate it when people think you can't fall in love at a young age, or when someone thinks that they can determine whether someone is in love or not.

Yes, here's a question. Why do you 'love' her? Because she's attractive? No. You can't love someone for their looks. Some of the most vain people are very attractive, and their beauty is usually the reason for their vanity. For her personality? There are strong ties with personal loves, yes, but she could be very ugly. I don't know this girl and I have doubts that you know much about her either. My girlfriend has been with me for years, it's not because I can't find another girl or that she can't find another guy, it's that we do love each other and don't just drift apart because of attractions to others.

Love can be determined by age... it encompasses (sp!.. f**king DI! Yaada yaada... dyslexic!) a lot of feelings and experiences which a very young person would not understand or be able to experience...

One example out of the "Love Is... " context

Love is... not being embarrassed or enraged by your loved one when they're pissed out of their brain... you find it endearing, cute and you're concerned for their safety...

At 14 he shouldn't be getting drunk!

You need life experience to decide who and what is right for you... I don't argue that what... whats his name?... feels at 14 feels very real to him at the moment but I really doubt that his intended is the love of his life... although you do hear of people who have only ever dated eachothr since they were 16 and marry... shure they end in divorce but its a sweet story!

I have had alot of expirance and I hace thought about this for a long time ok, I'm a bit more mature then most others my age, I know what love is and I know who I'm suppose to be with, so don't doubt me, I know what I'm getting into and I have plans for the future already to be prepared for it, and claire bear don't give me that "it seems very real at the moment" crap, u don't think I havn't heard that already, well I know I'm in love, how do I know well the lust and excitment of a new relationship is gone, yet I still want to be with her, I'm attached to her, and I worry about her sometimes when were separated, and I'm not giving up on this girl even though her mom is separating us, were still sneaking phone calls, I love her I know it and I'm not giving up, get used to it, life and love will find a way on keeping us together if it's meant to be and I'm pretty damn sure it is.

Oddfan, you remind me of a guy i once heard about. He, too, loved a 14 year old and they both said they were in love. She loved him so much, she'd do anything for him, even cover up for him. He said he loved her too. It was so sweet, so romantic...he was 56.

It was complete crap with a vague "children think they're in love, because they want to be in love". Such as when Paedophiles groom children, a very similiar situation. Well...not really, but in both cases the participants aren't really in love.

I have been with her for only a half a year, and I could easily get another girl, there are plenty, but even though I am being separated from this girl and it would be easier just to find another, I'm not going to find another cause I love the girl I'm with now even though I'm not allowed to be with her.

Look, the hungarian language a very hard language, harder than english, translate to english is very hard, because there are words where in english uhhh... mean one thing, but in hungarian mean 2000 other things... and I still learning it...

I wait... I been at pre-school when I learned some words... and in 1st grade my friends sad when I'm playing outside, they're going to learn english, and I said Ok... and in 3rd grade the english lessons became normal, so we must study it... and in the 7th grade I become the best in english in my class, and I not learned english for two years, cuz I know too much... but I must learn again...
