Joe will have enough points to buy a 1200 point game after he buys Super Meat Boy.

What game should Joe buy!
Get Psychonauts. Legally, this time.

I'm playing Deadly Premonitions right now, it's a low budget horror game, but it's very charming. Imagine a mix of silent hill and shenmue with a really weird sense of humor. All the characters are really cool and your main character, FBI special agent francis york morgan (but you can just call him york) is a joy to listen to.

Here's a cutscene that captures the spirit of the game pretty well:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUO0uuk5-QY

This may be my GOTY really, and it's only 20 bucks if you're interested!

Also the music is really good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzvXBFwcyek

I need to start playing it again. I got a little lost in the town, started working on another game, and forgot to go back to it. I really like it, though. It's a weird fucking game.

I started playing Mass Effect 2 yesterday. I really like it.

I'm glad I got Dragon Age so now I have that badass Blood Dragon armor.

I've rediscovered my Super Nintendo and my N64 recently; playing Banjo Kazooie, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Starfox on N64, Super Mario Bros. on SNES.

The Super Mario All-stars version Super Mario Bros?

I hated that port. They changed the block collisions, which was a monstrosity.

I dug Timesplitters out earlier. ~1 hour in my controller stopped working. I think it's an issue with the PS2, even though the controller appears to be at fault. All 3 of my controllers decided to develop the same problem on the same day. A new PS2 may be in order.

I'm almost hoping I need a new PS2 so that I can get a slimline. I'm going to ensure that my new PS2 is compatible with the Magic Switch tools so I can finally play Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+.

Just got Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit on Steam while it was on sale. Entertaining game, but I would never buy it for the 60 euros it's advertised for.

So I downloaded the Portal demo from Steam for the hell of it, expecting nothing from my integrated graphics chip.

Instead I got a decent framerate on medium/low graphics settings.

What.

EDIT: Also it was pretty fun I guess.

Oh I know, I've played the full game before elsewhere. I just needed to express my surprise about it being playable at all.

Also, marathoned AO and AE over the past week, downloading MO from Steam now, and I've been on-again off-again playing Transformice.

Been playing a shit load of Mass Effect 2 lately.

Just got to the first encounter with the Collectors. They're creepy!

Also, my squad throughout the game will def. be Garrus and Grunt!

My indecisiveness paid off and Limbo was on sale yesterday for 800 Microsoft points.

I bought it. It's so awesome.

I've finished the first 2 puzzles in Braid and I'm ripping my hair out over some in world 4.

I'm doing well with world 5's, although there are a few I still haven't found. I'm really struggling with world 6's puzzles.

Some of Braid's puzzles are an absolute bitch, but solving them just makes you feel extra smart.

Often I just feel stupid because they're so obvious. The last puzzle in world 6 is a great example:

You have to place a ring, pick it up and place it somewhere else to gain access to a high platform. You then stand on a thing that gives you a green lining and rewind to the first instance of you putting the ring down.

That one took me ages to figure out and I just felt dumb afterwards.

I remember those ring puzzles. I took one look at them, thought "fuck this" and completely ignored them on my first playthrough.

And then I had to go back to them to get the proper ending. I used a guide.

Been playing a lot of Reach since custom games are finally getting to be interesting.

Im waiting for ME2 to go on sale somewhere, since I bought all the DLC for it while it was on sale. I need to buy it new, so I can also get the Ceberus network shit, anyone know what that plus all the other DLC adds to the game in terms of hours?

Also bought Robo Revolution for Borderlands, even though I have yet to beat the Knoxx expansion. Also need to go through the GTA4 episodes. I fucking love DLC when its done right.

I should be playing Munch, but the truth is that i watched both stranger and munch on youtube before they announced they would really release them so i'm taking it slow. I ended up buying Darksiders from steam at 7.50 euros and it's one of the best games i've played in a while. It's amazing and extremelly addictive.

As for munch, i am waiting untill the controls are somewhat improved
