Oddworld Crusades Of The Relec!

Chapter 24 The Calling.

The sky was gray and dark as Kluna and Zin were headed for the Great Lake of Osmikea in hopes to bring light to this situation. A low rumble of thunder was heard as our heroes were passing familure landscapes from their previous oddessy. But the fimilure landscapes were dead and no life exist. The Great River of Sailas was black and an errie fog rose above it. The forest looked burned but yet the trees were not burnt but cursed by the blackness of the plegue that griped the northern land. And to Zin's thought he pondered "What kind of power or black magic does this Argalyth hold? Nothing like anything the Omega Relec held!"

Soon our heroes made there way out of the forest and onto the beach near the Great Lake of Osmikea. The lake looked dead with carcases of the lake beasts floating within and on the beach.

"This is it, we made it to the lake. We will get a raft and seek her out."

"You want us to cross that Zin. Look at it, this place is cursed!"

"So what we have been through a lot ever since we came to this cursid land! We have nothing else to do but this! I never intended this to happen to us. But it did, and we just have to live with it. We may never get back home to Mudos! I don't know whats going to happen to us but this is an adventure that only we have expierence. Just think we are now heroes to these races and soon our deeds will spread across the rest of Oddworld. When our friends back home find out about this, they will build a statue to honor us. We are kings my friend." explaned Zin.

"But I am just afraid of dieing." replied Kluna.

"Kluna we all know we are going to die one day its just a matter of how you control your life. The lake is our destiny we must seek Osmikea out and I must find out these mysteries. The Argalyth, My dealings with the Dark spirit and could it have anything to do with the Argalyth itself and do I have a connection with it."

"Then lets go!" said Kluna.

Meanwhile deep in the frozen north beyond the Junk Waist the Zileans were moveing the strange black object onto a loading platform when suddenly the object started to pulsate.

"Bleak na!" yelled one of the Zileans which ment Look!

And to their surprise the strange black rectangular lyth rose out of the box it was being held in. It hovered over all the frighten Zileans as they ran out of there into the Blizzard like tundra.

"My odd what is happening here!"

The Black Monolyth started to hum as the Zileans were looking southward towards the Junk Waists and the once lush portion of the continent of Sailas. They saw nothing but darkness that stretched for 1000's of miles to the coast. Even through the blinding snow storm they could see this phonomina. And they can see the blackness comeing from this Monolyth like smoke riseing from a large fire. But what they dident realise was that this black rectangular Monolyth that they have been holding for years of study, is the ancient Argalyth of Power that our heroes and the rest of Sailas are currently looking for.

At the same time Zin started to shake as he began to see more images of the Argalyth in his mind.

"Kluna its...its calling me. The voices the Black object its calling me!"

"Whats wrong with Zin?" said Bleak.

"Bleak row faster we have to get to Osmikea. I don't know whats happening with my friend but we must hurry! Hang in there Zin we will find Osmikea to help us out and we will find this Argalyth for what ever it is!" said Kluna.

Chapter 25 visions of death

"We are almost there Zin just a little bit further." said Kluna as Zin lied in the boat unconcious for the moment. But was Zin really aware of his situation? Only Zin knew and he knew his situation he was in. Another dream he was haveing but this time it seemed as if he was powerful with a dark evil that hunted him many times before. This time there was no face no voices no argalyth only him and a hallway with many doors.

"Hello!" as Zin called out into the dark hallway. Only he heard his echo. It was like he was somebody else and it felt good to him. But something urged him to move down the hall. He grabed a face from the ancient gallery and walked on down the hall. He went into a room where Silak lived, then he, payed a visit to his other friends that he knew then he... walked on down the hall. He looked back and there was nothing but darkness and the cries of many. He came to a door and he looked inside. The room was dark as he saw his close friend Kluna sitting there but something else was hidden in the shadow beside him. A sudden cry of words came from Zin's voice that made him shiver with fear.

"Kluna!"

"Yes Zin!"

"I want to kill you!"

Then Zin turned to the shadow as a light showed down and Zin was scared. scared for his life and the life of others. For what he saw in his dream will now hunt him forever. He turned to it and he tried to resist from saying it as anger build in him. He cried out the words as if something was controling him like a puppet. He dident want to say it because he knew who it was in the shadow.

"Mother! I want to..........NoooooooooooooooooooAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh h!"

Suddenly Zin woke in horror for what he saw was the image of Sam and behind her the Argalyth stood tall. But what did it mean?

"Zin whats wrong?"

In his frighten self as he was breathing hard "I am ok. I had another nightmare but it was different. Everyone was in it and you were in it. But for some reason Sam was in it. I wanted to kill you and her...and I enjoyed it. I wanted to kill everything. what ever is happening to me we must stop it! I am beginning to realise what is happening and starting to learn of my true destany."

The boat rowed away as our heros sat in the boat pondering of Zins little situation.

Chapter 26 The oasis

Meanwhile the rest were resting on an oasis that Wheely spotted earlier. But Trilas and his group were also in the mediate area of the oasis. Hidden so Silak can't see them, Trilas started putting together a plan to distract our heros.

"Orphious there they are, just like sitting ducks."

"Then lets attack Trilas!" replied Orphious.

Suddenly he grabed Orphious and said "No no! lets wait a little bit. I have realise an attack would be useless. You see that oasis, beyond it is a canyon that we can trap Silak and his group in."

"I don't see a canyon what the heck are you talking about?" replied Orphious.

"You senseless twit! Its no wounder your such a lazy Dark Mud. Fool there is a propetual fog bank hideing the canyon. I have seen this place before. The canyon is 100 miles deep and 200 miles across. This place is the border batween the capital and the rest of Sailas. There is only one way to get across and that is the bridge of eternity. Its called that because there was a myth eons ago that when this bridge was constructed it looked as if it went on forever. You cannot see the bottom of this canyon nor you can't see whats on the other side. But we all know its the capital.
We will trap them on the bridge!" as Trilas smiled.

"Ive heard tales that Monsters picked individuals off when they crossed." said Orphious.

"Typical!"

Suddenly Trilas noticed Cronus talking with Silak as if he befriended them.

"Whats this I see? Cronus!"

Meanwhile Cronus was explaning the area to Silak.

"Now you see I come to make truce with you people. This place is the border batween the capital. There is a vast canyon on the other side of this oasis. we must find the bridge of eternity and get to the capital!"

"Should we trust him Silak?" said Kleek.

"We don't have any choice. We have to cross that canyon but its vast. Cronus if we give you our trust will you lead us to the bridge?"

"Why yes!"

"Then its settled we will follow you but one hint of trouble you will be our captive." explaned Silak.

"No need for that Silak!" said Cronus.

"Silak the capital lies on the other side of this. Once we are there we can head to the order and bring an end to this war!" said Borlock.

"Yes I know, I most definatly know" as Silak looked on. But he was bothered by the fact of his missing friends Kluna and Zin. "Were they lost, were they killed?" He thought of these horrible possiabilties that seemed to bother and distract Silak the whole time they were apart.

(Ive been preoccupied in the last several months and I havent really gotten to anything on my stories like this so I started Odderworld but I am going to finnish my trilogy.)

Chapter 27 Trouble with the fruit.

They arrived on the island of Osmikea the Misty One. Ancient wise shell mount that helped Zin before during the Conquest.

"Osmikea!" yelled Zin. But nobody answered. Bleak was silent but couldn't resist on snatching some of the fruit off the small twig.

"Fruit! yes must have fruit!" As Bleak reached.

"I don't know Zin this place looks dead." said Kluna.

"Its not dead believe me. Osmikea is practically the island itself. She is a Shell Mont. Sort of like and Elderling but not as wise and arrogant." explane Zin.

"I hope your right."

Meanwhile Bleak was trying to grab the piece of fruit when suddenly a small furry creature came up to him and squeeled.

"Hello little one this is my fruit!"

The creature started to grow in size as its shadow engulped Bleak. Bleak was now frighten to death as he threw the fruit down to it. But another furry beast came up to him and did the same thing but now there was two.

"Here you go theres your fruit furry friends!"
