It isn't Saying that. This is where we came from Organisms are tiny mircroscopic anmials right they evolve into bigger creatures (like dinosaurs) after a really long time the dinosaurs died out possible by a big rock that blocked out the sun causing them to die etc etc . Finally mammals were on the earth there were apes scientist say we evolved from apes so the apes evolved into the first humans. So in conclusion thats how I think we evolved into what we are today. You can't just pick and choose what parts of the bible you like, and what parts to ignore

On that basis, do you persecute people who eat oysters [since the Bible says that they are sinners in the same chapter in which it says that Homosexuality is a sin]? If you do, then you are an Idiot. Aye Gluk. If the world wasn't constantly changing...we would all still be amobias. Evolution occurs because of constant change in the environment.
Here's something to think about. There are many races of domesticated dogs today...all of which are descendents of wolves. Early man started taking pups and taming some of the wolves thousands of years ago. Over time with mans influence, they 'evolved' into the many different kinds of dogs we know of today. Now this is not really 'true' evolution...as it was human guided.
Here is another example one of true evolution:
There are two groups of monkeys (don't remember what it is called) that live next to a canyon, one group on either side. They are the same species...but look slightly different from each other. How? A long time ago the canyon wasn't deep enough to prevent the monkeys from intermiggling. As the canyon got wider and deeper due to the forces of erosion, the two groups couldn't intermiggle anymore...so they started going seperate ways evolution wise.

Oh yeah, in my middle-school we had to sing hymns, I'll never forgive them for that. There were harly any songs in our book things which weren't themed around Christianity.
If we didn't sing we were told-off. If we used made-up words we were told-off. Stupid ****ing school, whoever had the idea of us singing Christian hymns for ****'s sake should be shot and allowed to bleed to death.

Religion appears to be dying a slow and painful death in this world, eventually we will realise that this life is our only heaven, we wont extend our yearning for self-preservation to fanciful ideas of an afterlife, for which we compete for violently. Compassion is the one, true religion that will give humans what we desire.

By the way, a scripture teacher once told me that if there was no afterlife, there would be no difference between the lives lead by Hitler and Mother Theresa. Why can't one be good for goodness sake, not just for hopes of a special place in heaven?

Rettik, sorry for getting like that in my previous post. i will answer, though:It is not a sin to eat an oyster. You are probaly getting that odd idea from leviticus.This order from god is his old covenant. This is the one Jews believe. This is now irrelevant. We all can speak to God directly and do not have to fear god because jesus came and died for all sin. The new covenant is basically this, "Believe that Jesus is the Savior and live accordingly to god as best as you can. Believing that Jesus came to die for your sins+repenetance+=Heaven. Capisce? Also read an epistle 1Cor will kinda put this into perspective. It isn';t that long so read it, no matter how repulsive you think the bible is.

Also, I Think Last night, God meant for me to watch Benny Hinn Last night. There! He gave me proof that God existed and what happend to the dinosaurs yo. I was shocked what had happened to them and how they were created. He showed me the scriptures about it in the bible and explained it to me.
