They want to hold an Olympic event on a special place with a lot of natural beauty. Can you all imagine the impact on 3000+ people packed onto this tiny place all at once???

The ruins itself will be fine, but the area will be destroyed. There aren't many places like this in Essex anymore 'cause they've all been built on, and they want to sacrifice this place now just for a stupid one-time event?!

It makes me very damned angry.

(Man, OWF is being slow today. :P)

They want to do mountain biking there. Not the most harmful sport, sure, but many bike wheels do a really good job of churning up terrain.
