That image is kind of blurry, something I intend to fix when I get home. It will end up looking like the following, without the little blotch on the circle.

Tree thing is great! I love it, though I can't see any blue, besides maybe a faint bit in the background, if that's what you mean. How did you make those splats? I can't imagine you flicking the pen's ink all over, but I could be wrong. The portrait is... not coming up for some reason. Once it works I'll give you feedback on it.
EDIT: Whoa! Nice, I like that. How does that work, it is in the paper? Like scratch art type stuff? And what are you staning on?

I like that drawing style. My favorite picture is the first one. The tree looks nice and the inkblots make the picture kind of lovely. It's inspiring.

Well, all those things I posted all them months ago got me into art school, so now I have some more pictures to post! WOOT.

The first is a Chuck Close style piece with boxes of COLOR!!!



This'n involves chunks of color, based on the same photograph.



The next four are part of a series where we had to do a bunch of charcoal drawings as shapes of value (lightness or darkness), so minimal use of line. Except for the last, which is a reproduction of a Chardin painting.









Unfortunately, it's all Fine Arts classwork and things, most of my personal artwork is in tiny sketchbooks that are to difficult to photograph, so yeah. I'm on a 9-day break tomorrow though, so hopefully I'll get some shit up by then.

Hmm, fucking facebook can't make these images any bigger, or zoomable or anything. Which sucks, cause the whole point of these pages is that there's a shitload of tiny little details everywhere. Weird, but most of this stuff I was super-happy with when I made them but really am not impressed by anymore. The hands, however, continue to hold my interest. I just can't stop drawing them! Mmmm!

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "controlled". The lines are all sort of loose rendition of shapes I see inside the hand, and if they're inaccurate, I generally just do a slightly tighter rendering on top of it. Then I outline em.

And for the record, that squiggly one is a right hand, meaning I did it left-handed. Which explains the squeegles.
