Back in the days before the huge OWF split (which we won't go into - It's behind us now), maybe there were more guys then girls.
But compared to these days, the ratio of girls vs guys on OWF were much higher back then, compared to now-a-days. . .
I might be wrong, though. I just remember there being loads of more girls around.

And concerning the forum colours... I use honeybee and the shitty brown tones are really starting to grow on me!!!!!!

I think black would be a little hard on the eyes and the shadowy graphics on OW wouldn't really show up to their best... but I like black... I'm dressed head to toe in it at the moment and every day!

Yeah, the ratio is forever changing. But an interesting fact, is that the number of female forum members seemed to decrease as the number of male forum members increased when Munch's Oddysee was released. I guess this could fit quite nicely with my belief that females are better equipped with handling emotions. Munch's Oddysee mustn't have been very emotionally nourishing as the previous two.

I think it's wonderful that we have a female and a male administering the forums. I like to think it keeps things balanced.

I'm a woman... yes yes, i know my profile doesn't says so, but i don't like to put too many personal information about me on the net.....

If i could, i would stay online aaaaall day long. But my parents doesn't like that.
And the forums really need a new style.... I was thinking about something with more lighter colours, and not just brown. We only have brown styles.

As for the girls being hardcore-fans.... Well, maybe it's not so much about how much you know about oddworld... Maybe there are more girl-fans than boy-fans...
I think that a true fan is a person who really likes the game, and enjoys playing it even after you have completed it.... I've completed the games like 5-7 times. i can't remember it. Maybe there are only few girls at the forums, but in real life, it's totally different.......

I'm a guy and I'm not what you'd call a hardcore Oddworld fan. Sure, I'm interested in the game and I've played and completed them all, but I'm not addict. I don't follow the upcoming game nearly as rabidly as other people, including most female fans. I get facts mixed up and things like that. I've got a fairly decent grip on things, but not even close to people like Abebabe. Color me crazy, but I think I've enjoyed these forums just as much if not more than Oddworld games. On the backround note, I think its pretty good. I'm into earth tones and stuff and the color scheme is mellow and jives with the Oddworld philosophy. Anything florescent would drive me insane.

Hmmm well I must be quite the forgettable forumer then. Luckily the same is not true about me in real life so I'll not give it a further bit of thought.

I am a girly girl, I do plenty of real life girly things like wear dresses and heels and the colour pink is growing on me

But I still love these forums.

I guess I just tend to read more than post. So perhaps there are alot of women guests who just view the threads, but perhaps haven't gotten around to registering, or maybe they are intimidated by joining and just jumping right in. The female fans are out there though!

Besides... some people here aren't sure if I'M even female so they'll probably not believe any one I entice onto here as being female either!

I would have the thought my total irrationality, inability to behave calmly and my total need tocause trouble and annoy would be a big give away that I'm a real girl!
