Know this: Of the five basic outlaw types: Hunchback tusken, hunchback orange, Hunchback nailer, Yellowhead (Castaraider) and Hammerjaw (Blisterz Booty), Jo'Momma fits into none. She appears to be hunchbacked at first sight, but she has the nailer's horns and a Booty-esque jaw.
Which is why we can assume that she is a queen, because she has charicteristics of (almost) all outlaw types

Seems logical, though she's not nearly as big as the [released] images of the other queens.

I dont think she is a queen but just all the outlaws in her gang are her children.

Knowing the kinds of characters that Outlaws are, I would guess that they are a male dominant society. They probably keep their women at home taking care of the house and possible children. They are based in part on redneck society which tends to be male dominant. So no, I wouldn't think that they would have a queen.

That doesn't actually hep us in our investigation of outlaw biology and reproduction.

Yes it does; it tells you that considering Jo a female is barking up the wrong red herring.

Hm, now I'm just convinced that Outlaws have something similar to a queen, but it's different. It's not really a queen, but the female supports the males for some time, and tries to hope for a girl. Which kind of makes sense in why most Outlaws claim to be brothers of the fellow gang members.

Anyway, I have a question. Basicly, in SW, in articles of 2003-04, they seemed to point at the direction that Stranger was in fact a Steef. But in the game, the game was made to almost seem like Stranger being a Steef was a secret. But why? Was there something that made OWI change their mind on how Stranger being a Steef was going to be revealed?

Another thing, isn't time to make a v.5 of Q&A around here?

We were told the Stranger was a Steef in our very first introduction to him in the X-Factor special. From that, we gathered that Lorne wanted to let us grow attached to the Stranger before it was revealed to the player that he was a Steef, although the details and nomenclature was not known to us. We generally considered this to be an unwelcome spoiler, which is exactly what you're pointing out.

It's like the previews of Abe's Exoddus that made it blatently obvious that Mudokon Tears are an ingredient of SoulStorm Brew, but if you play the game it's rather obvious it's meant to be an unexpected plot twist.

The Q&A thread doesn't need a new incarnation. This incarnation was only created to combine the existing concept with the image request thread.

Ah, now I get it. Thanks Max.

I have another question. Why does some of Vykkers have two fingers, but others have three? Is it just the way they were born, or was it something experiment related?

The Vykkers I found that have two fingers on one hand, also has three fingers as well. Here are some of them.

The one of the ground has two fingers being held up.

Look at this one's right top hand to see two fingers.

Irwin's top left hand here has two fingers as well. It gives me curiousity in why some Vykkers have two fingers on one hand, and other hands have three.

I think it just depends on the angle you're looking at it. One of the fingers could be hidden behind the others, or it could be extended away from the camera and blocked behind the wrist.

Some concept art displayed them with only two digits on each hand. Perhaps that is the origin of his confusion.

Question. Does anyone know what the Outlaw says to the other next to him, on the Opple Farm, right after Meagley tells them not to let anyone on the farm?
I'm not ever able to understand that.

no those are holes to put the horns in, but that dosnt really make sense since they are curled. Unless strangers hornes are extremely flexible

Stranger has no horns, so obviously they are attatched to the armour. Whether or not they are genuine steef horn is as yet undetermined.

Now, is he saying it's a double negative because there's already so many people on the Farm, or what?

No, the sentence Meagly spoke was a double negative. “Don't” and “none” cancel each other out. The literal meaning of his order is “One or more of you idiots let anyone on the farm.”

Double negatives according to Wikipedia

I have a quick question:
Why is it necessary for Abe to have a last name if all mudokons come from the same queen? Unless of course there are multiple mudokon queens on Oddworld and there last names represent what queen they come from. However, this still seems to me that mudokons having a last name is unnecessary.

Well his full name has never been mentioned in canon. The only reason we suspect it is his full name in canon is because of the cryptic remark Alf's Assistant once left us that Abe did have a last name. But he may just have been teasing us.

There are a lot of Mudokons, possibly more Mudokons than there are common names for them. Thus a last name might go some way to further identify them, which is how family names in Europe developed. A lot of them describe an ancestor's function in the community such as a Wainwright, who made carts, or a Pollard, who pollarded trees. Abe's name refers to him being a fisher - which we've never seen him doing yet. Maybe he hasn't yet been given his full name, or maybe it's a trivial matter compared to the epic story of the Quintology.

Personally, I think giving Abe a relaxing position in society would be a humble and quaint thing. He'd love it.
