well, that's traditional in modern rock.
you've got a basic chord progression, maybe 3 or 4, depending on time signature and how math-y the song is. that goes to the bridge, which sets it up for the chorus.
i'm not a big fan of that kind of writing. when i write, the style is a bit more jazzy and jagged.

Yeth. I was just pointing out how much bad, mass produced Rock (48 may, etc etc...) most publically loved (teens following the 'rock' craze...). I
hate that genre. Arg. Oh yeah, I was meaning "Really really, really, really basic rock song formation".

Like, 'Hey I just learned guitar! Let's start a band, with you on the triangle! It's pure talent, baby!' .
