We know Gabbits are male and female because they have mating calls. Mating calls generally mean they are looking for a partner of opposite gender. Secondly they supposedly are known to spawn in special places like trout. Also, if they had a queen the Gabbiar babies would not be able to procreate unless one of them happened to be a queen.

Is it official that Vykkers are hermaphrodites. Because I was under the impressions that they were asexual, and being asexual does not require to be a hermaphrodite. Their are two main types of asexual reproduction Binary Fission (something about cell division) and Budding (basically the gremlin theory). I dont think that makes them hermaphrodites.

Well, I'm suprised, I only thought that they happened to be asexual, not hermaphradites. So technically they arent asexual because there is no type of asexual reproduction that could be used to described them since they impregnate themselves.

Vykkers do mate but since they are hermaphrodites all of the vykkers involved in the intercourse will impregate another and be impregnated themselves.
