I think that "the update in October" is a wonderful effort.
Making it took time considerably.
However, it was not able to be made to complete altogether.

Ooh, let's see:

1) No news on the next game.
2) Another terrible Dear Alf where Alf just mucks about.
3) An online catalogue. Nice, but we can't use it.

Come on OWI, this is getting very tedious...

Having said that, the RuptureFarms catalogue was very good, and The Daily Deception did let us look further into Oddworld. Mulletokons were a great idea - except, ironically, the bit about them having mullets, that's just stupid - and almost explains where Sligs get their Slogs from.

And the OWI profiles are a right laugh:

Like I said, what's good is good, and there are plenty of good bits, and the catalogue is the best bit. But there's just as many poor bits.

Well I haven't been able to see these updates yet sience I have not been able to visit the fourms as recently as I normally did do to homework! *Sigh*Oh, well. Im gonna go check them out now but all in all it sounds pretty neat.

K, where do they state about forum topics?

The Mullet thing was vaguely amusing...although Mullets are atrocious and OWI should be beaten with a stick for even typing the word 'Mullet' its such a vulger word.

And where does it say stuff about the 4th game!?

Is it just me or are these obvious things not so obvious (Obviously only people who wear Diadora and other 7 yr fashion statements can see them).

Also, whats Alfs email addy?

Also, i would like to draw forumers eyes down to the bottom of the Catalog page. Now...read it, slowly and repeatedly. Notice how it says they are not real...now, that means, its IM-AGIN-ARY...ok? Good. Now, trot along and play with your toy fire engine.

In the DD there is something about "Weird and Ridiculous Rises". Isn't there a thread about saving more than enough mudokons called "weird and ridiculous"? I forget the other jokes I saw.

Also... Theroy. Is that a hint about the next game? Is the next hero going to be named Theroy? Theroy's Oddysee?

And mulletokons scare me. I know someone who used to have a mullet.

Lastly, what does 11 perps and vices mean?

Nice updates they have this month. One thing I do like is the fact that they put the Daily Deception Online, thats pretty sweet. Rupture Farms catalog was fun to read. Not to much new info though.

Such as a smokers vice is cigs, a drinkers vice is alkohol, a shallow, gay-guys vice is Gucci suits.

These are nice updates! I only want fun stuff at this moment. It's too early to give real NEWS. Let's assume oddworld4 won't be in your XBOX before december 2003. Then we've got at least a year to wait. Then they best start spreading news arround march. Do you really want them to hype the next game like they did with MO? It's a good way to get dissapointed fans.

Right now they take the time to fool arround, enjoy it while you can.

Well it is all so predictable with OWI. They are keeping all the good stuff a secret, THEY ARE NOT TELLING ANYTHING! Like I said in other threads aswell. We are not going to get much of anything on Oddworld 4 but very little clues. I like that and what ever they are hideing from us sounds exciting. Thats my feeling. It has to something big I have this feeling!

It took three years, I'd hardly call that quick. I'd actually call it slow.

But, yes, if the decency of this rests upon the length of production, I'll be happy.

I'm thinking that it will be in stores by Christmas next year. They kill two birds with one stone that way, Christmas sales will make the game more popular and they will actually have had a good long time to make it perfect. I CAN'T WAIT!

sorry but I heard that the game was made in 6 months... witch is pretty quick,
the PS2 devloppement and then cancellation took a lot of time.

Why are you whining?? At least they udate their website every month. Most official sites devoted to a game just have archives.

It seems Oddworld games come out around the Holidays or the fall time. I am not sure I know AE and MO did but I forget what month did AO come out? Anyway most likely you are right about it comming out next Christmas. It sounds right at least.
