9-11-01 - 9-11-02 Rememberance of what happened. Hope For the Future.

I make this topic in dedication to September 11th, 2001. A day that shocked the U.S., its citizens, myself, and our entire world in an instant. We remember and honor all those who died on that fateful day in September one year ago.

I remember it still perfectly in my head. I was typing a quiz in language arts, only about two weeks into 8th grade when we were told of what happened. For some reason, I thought my teacher was joking but what I soon realized that the reality of things was quite different. I watched the images of the WTC tower as the plane slammed into the south tower. And what seemed like a movie was playing on the TV instead of it feeling like real life. One year later the images are just as vivid as they were 12 months ago, but I pray that no one ever will have to witness or expierence this type of terror again. My heart goes out to the people of New York, and my fellow americans. Now a year later in my Freshman year, age 14 I look to tommorrow with great anticpation of a wondorful day, to remind us of our unity. And what life really should be like.

Thank You.

-Sincerely, Al the Vykker

Let us Remember, and learn, and never forget.

I would like to say a few things regarding this.

In as much as our lives have changed the essence of America remains alive and stronger then before. All the other countries are watching America, as we make way through this universal fight, or world wide fight. We just have to remain strong through out this delema. We must keep up with our normal lives and show that we have not been tatered by the terrorists.

Long live America, the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

-Kai

Cheers

Tonight a special will be shown on TV about what happened inside one of the towers. It will be very interesting, but sad.

May peace be with us.

In honour to all the people in America who died under the debris of the WTC, and to the families who have to live in sadness.

I can still see the pictures in my head, can hear the screams when I watched TV on this day when it happened. The year turned very quickly, and I still can't believe that.

It was such a funny day on Septer 11th. School was great, I've got a good grade. the weather was beautiful, all people were nice to me. But when I went online to meet up some friends, I just thought they were joking with me. I was like dizzy and engrossed in the news at the TV that I totally forgot anything!
3000 people died due to 19 muslim terrorists. Nineteen who did their life job through suggestion.

They are afraid, that's the reason why they attacked America in this way. Another way isn't possible? That's very poor what they did, don't you agree?

I can't watch the news today, I find it so sad. Even when we tried to forget that, we will always be confronted with this day.
But Septemper 11th showed us that we are all united, those who helped the americans and also died. . .

Like Al the Vykker said, let us never forget.

Well said Al!

I too remember what I was doing September 11th 2001. I was sitting in my school lybrary finnishing up some work when I notice everybody standing outside in the galleria of my college. All their faces were centered on the television. Then I looked at the screen and I was in complete silence at the images I was seeing take place in front of me. I felt scared because my school is so close to the Cleveland Intenational airport. At first I thought we were being shot at by missles but then I saw the planes. So then I went to my first class not sure why I was going but we were evacuated from the college a few minutes later as the staff told us to go home.

I can remember getting home and seeing the look on my mothers face. I have never seen such a look. And the images are still vivid in my mind today. For the whole day my mom and I just sat there watching the television angry and depressed at this. I prayed to God that day for the horror to stop. For the meaning of being an American changed for me that day. And it changed for the good of our country. My prayers go out to the families who have suffered the los in which they had to endure for a year now. May God Bless them.

I would like to say, that my heart felt sympathy goes out to anyone who has lost someone through this terrible act.
At least we know the excuse for a chimpanze who did it has just bought themselves a ticket to an eternity in hell. So they will pay for it in their agony for all eternity.
God bless America and all who live there.

My heart goes out to all who watched, or had family hurt or killed in the terroist attacks. I remeber watching tele and then tomatically the tv turned to fox. And I watched live the events. It was terrible and I hope it never to happen again. My expression went frm usually smiley to crying. And I was hundreds of thousands of miles away!!

I watched with terro and if you look back, I was especially worrie about pinky. I went and loked at all the old post today. I know people will think thats sad. But I did.

Thousands of innocent people killed, Thousand injured. Millions terrofied. Billions upset. All for a few seconds of life and death.

I don't know why they did it. Honestly I don't care.

Just never forget nd never live through it again!!!

I remember it like it was a week ago...

I was at school when I heard an announcement on the intercom that said I was being dismissed. I went to the office and saw my mother; she had sunglasses on. As we walked over to the car she took the glasses off; she was crying. I asked her what happened. She told me that New York City had been attacked. She dropped me off at home to see the events as they happened. I watched the events unfold all day.

One thing that really made me angry was how after the attacks a lot of Muslims were being discriminated against. One of my best friends is an Arab Muslim. A few people made up rumors that he was happy about the attacks, but it was not true at all. He lived his whole life in New York until moving from there three years ago. One person even pointed at him in a crowded hallway and called him a terrorist. It makes me sad that people can be so mean and narrow-minded.

My heart goes out to all the victims of September 11, 2001.

....................silence is everyones response

I know this is a very difficult time for others on what happened on Sept 11. I myself try to forget it, but it's very difficult. I remember when I just walked into Homebase. My teacher had the T.V. on the news. Just when I was typing my essay, Everyone noticed what happened. Many students around campus were watching this tragedy. Every period I had to watch it over and over again. Those two planes crashing into WTC, It was terrifying for me. I couldn't stand it. I had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom and cry.By the time I got home my dad was watching the news. I noticed a women looking for her husband.I looked at the no. and called her. I told her how I felt, Then we both cried together on the phone.

How could I forget the tragic day?

I remember it like just last Friday......(yesterday) I was walking to school...when I heard my Dad's voice calling....I thought maybe I forgot something....when I got to the door my dad was crying.....I was only in 2nd grade....I didn't know what was going on....I panicked.......Then he said "the world trade center is falling"....I knew instantly what was going on......but I laughed so hard I fell on the ground.....I said half gasping for breath,"That's the lamest joke I've ever heard.....haw,haw....." Then dad exlaimed,"I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!"..............I gasped and went into the house...over and over again I kept seeing it....I couldn't help but to force a cry....I went to school and the whole day all I heard was......"Did you see the news.....did you see the news....did you see the World Trade Center fall?" I couldn't help it...I ran to the bathroom without being excused and cryed......When I got home mom was there early......I asked,"How come you're home...?".....She said,"Because of the world trade center."....I too saw the lady looking for her husband......It was sad for us all..in audition to that.....I will do this,.....*prays outloud for everyone to hear* Dear lord...bless the faithful day of 9/11/01.....for it was a sad day for us all.........I hope that never happens again.....with all the people with you that have died on the day.....I must speak with them......*waits a minute*..........O.K.......I'm very sorry for you to lose your lives...your hearts.....and your husbands and wifes.......I hope you live a good life with God......and god bless you all....amen*opens eyes*......and to all you people out there that can not take the pain and missury of all of the WTC talk...I hope you can have rememberence to that sad, sad, sad, day......*makes a grave* *writes on it and says what the grave reads....*......IN LOVEING MEMORY OF ALL WHO HAVE DIED ON THE WTC ATTACKS........I HOPE YOU GUYS CAN LIVE WITH GOD FOREVER.....WHICH YOU CAN...... *end* In loveing memory of also my best friend..... the end
