Shrinking!

Well I just got done watching the Movie Inner Space and a funny thought came to mind. You think Humans will ever be abel to shrink things? Is it possible to shrink a human to Microscopic size? I love shrinking movies like "Honey I shrunk the Kids, Inner Space, and of course a classic Fantastic Voyage." But compareing Inner Space and Fantastic Voyage, I prefer Inner Space. That movie is pretty funny with Martin Short and Dennis Quaid, and Meg Ryan. It's old and it was made in the late 80's but It is a very fun movie. Anyway the question is will we shrink things? And if so, how?

Well I wanted to contribute to the correct subject of this thread as like paramiteabe I find it interesting, but to my dismay I find it has deteriorated. But I'm still going to post what I wanted to post ... darn guys with "one track minds".

I read a short science fiction story once which was about shrinking. It was very interesting, because the guy in it shrunk, but unlike the movies that paramiteabe mentions he keeps shrinking. What he finds out is that there are universes inside ours. So therfore he shrinks so small that he eventually dissappears from this universe or reality and goes into the next one in which he is larger than everything. I can't remember how it ends as I read it years ago, but the gist of it was that there were many universes layered over each other each really smaller than the next. But of course you would not realize that because to you, everything would be in proportion.

I'm sure no one really cares, but I do care if people start insulting others ... so if this keeps up I'll be the one closing it.

Anyway, i believe the only way to shrink a human is to cut him up into teensy pieces...

You never know what technology our future would produce, but I'm really not sure if technology to shrink humans would be scientifically possible. The shrinking would need to involve not only the shrinking of the body, but also all organs would need to be shrinked in proportion in order to allow for the correct blood flow and operation of the body.

If something were to be developed to do such, I don't think it would be by any means that is known today.
