In one magazine I allways read was a article about Exoddus when it came out. In this article the said: Oddworld- inventer Lorne Lanning reached his dream to create a work of art with a video game. No fan of Jump&Run can escape from the fascination of these odd creatures and their story. Lorne Lanning is on his way to became that what Geores Lucas is in the film industrie: A big visionary man with inexhauszible creativity and a big bank account.
The game get a 1 ( the assessment index reaches from 6(the worst, very very bad game) till 1(the best,very, very good game!)

The Oddworld Quintology was actually written to be a movie series, but it was decided to be released as games first.

Also, the artistic side of things is the main reason for the Xbox change (yes, some people will argue this), as the limitations of the PS2 would have meant that OWI would have had to comprimise on some things, in particular the quality of game play images.

Aren't they going to make movies for the games later on? I bet they will have one for Abe, then one for Munch, then one for Squeek and so on. I dont think they will make a movie for each gave (oddysee, exoddus, etc.)

Yes, the plan is one movie for each part of the Quintology. They are supposed to be 5 years away... but that is likely to change.

I can't wait to see what was put into the oddworld games for gameplay purposes only and what they actually decide to put in the movie, which I would consider the most "official" version of oddworld.

I don't think we would have to worry about poor quality imagery I can promise everyone that. Let's just hope the script is as good. And the ticket sales.

One game = approximately 3 years to make.
Quintology = five games plus at least five bonus games.
Total games = 10

10 * 3 = 30 .....NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!


One movie = approx 2 years to make
One movie per Quintology Episode = five movies
5*2 = 10

Total time making all games and movies: 40 years
Minus 9 years for the first three games = 31

If this is correct (which i pray to Odd it is not), then the last movie will not come out until 2033!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it will take at least 2 for ME to be released, afterall it is now in 3D and the programmers/whatevers have gotten used to the new programming etc.

Therefore it should be released sooner, but not too soon. One year I think is too much to ask for. Anyway, there;s an upside to this too, we will have so much more time to ponder what ME will be like

I would at least like a tiny bit of info about it. Like what is the main factory, what new creatures will be in it, what is the name of the main boss/bosses, what new characters will we see etc.

Well we won't have to wait too long sience OWI had already created the script, cutscenes, etc. This hasn't been conformed my anyone but Im almost certain that it true sience the Oddworld Quintology was written as a movie first.
